    If i'd have had two pennies to rub together after my divorce i'd of done it then definately, i guess it all depends on what you can do without, whether you have a house to rent to cover your mortgage etc etc.... Ali, your right, one of the reasons i love Lincolnshire is because the way of life seems slower.... im sure someone will correct me if im wrong,but my aunt lived in sleaford.which is in lincolnshire i think?absouletely great place and had many a good holiday in the summer there.my cousin and uncles were in the raf in fact think most people that lived there were connected to

    A week or two at a time in a landrover would suit me. Roof rack tent, dogs and gear in the back with plenty of jerry cans of diesel. Open fire every night with the dogs chained to the landy to let me know of any unwanted nocternal visitors, fish for breaky, game for tea. Meet up with friends for the odd day. Explore all corners of this great island and then explore Ireland. Whether thats a traveller/gypsy or just an explorer/free spirit I dunno, but Its something I have to do! And if I dont do it soon, lifes shitty commitments are gonna bog me down.

    Theres alot of potential shit brewing in the world right now. It amazes me that some people want to get shot of or reduce our nuclear deterent . Too many fruit loops with worrying levels of technology to be locking away our big guns.     I think people cross these two specialists to produce good all rounders, not hare dogs but a dog that can spin a hare as well as all other quarry. Personally I like what ive heard of this mix and if the right breeding comes along ill be having one in time, but it certainly wont be bought as a 100% hare dog.

    A bolt action single shot 410 has always appealed to me for this job, gotta be better than manouvering a 32 inch barrel auto 12 bore in the hole!!! Although one of them 357 magnums would be handy Anybody got any pics of a bolt action 410 pistol? I think most of them are just cut down shotguns? Also be handy if a small maglight or LED torch could be mounted for the tricky situations where ya can only get the one hand in...
