    'I BELIEVE' it is the same law that applies to airguns now (however absurd it may sound)....shops/distributors cannot sell you a mail order gun but private sale are fine!! so if some who is not a business wants to send u one thats fine!!

    spearfishing is totally legal within the tidal range but be sure not to brandish your speargun on the beach during summer season as having it uncovered might attract attention and fall on wrong side of the law...even though i doubt it would be enforced very easily....still for safety and respect (same as any gun) it should be in a case/bag of some sort when transporting and until you are about to use it.....also these can do alot of damage, so if you are diving/snorkelling in pairs try and keep out of range of eachother but still within seeing distance WHICH IS BLOODY HARD WITH THE UK'S MURKY

    you want west wales :] manorbier beach in tenby, i saw a guy come out of the water with about 6 3-4 lb bass strapped to his waist i was fishing and i couldnt get one bloody bass just loads of maceral. nice one bro...haha, must have been a bit frustrating...at least u know the fish are therebro...maybe u should get into the spearfishing too"!!!! spearfishing with diving bottles IS illegal, quite rightly so in my opinion as it gives the quarry no sporting chance basically, people would just clean up in one sitting.

    all good and fair points...i know lead comes from the ground, but so does uranium??? also just because something has been used for a long time does not at all mean that we should continue using it...to me its nothing to do with being fashionable, it just makes one think twice about things...and i agree bout the bulbs and stuff like that, alot of hipocrytes within government etc, enviro agencies who have never left their comfortable concrete jungle to know much bout the real environment.... i didn't think that eating a few pellets would actually kill a pigeon, just wondered if anyone had f

    Hi all. I would like to begin a worthwhile discussion/debate. I do not mean to pre-suppose or believe i am right, i'm hear to learn and get ideas and constructive discussion. I have been hunting in all forms for years and love both hunting and nature i believe it is up to people like us, who live quite close to nature to be aware of how to improve what we do.. i keep racking my brains trying to justify the use of lead as shot.     hi all, i have done it since i was a kid bak in gibraltar..alot clearer water out there..since i've been here (wales) only been once without a gun to check it out...looks nice, lots of lobsters and fish around..had to wait for three days of flat calm before i could see much though..     what does canny mean? i am not familiar with the term? On every website I have visited the BSA Lightning (Standard/Carbine) is priced, brand new, at just over £200. That is why I have suggested £100.
