  7. no.they have great heart and determination but they wont kill day time hares besides d odd 1.they just lack in speed abit for fox aswell day time.not putting the breed down they are great lamping ferreting and mooching dogs.just not an allround lurcher. yeah no what you mean i have a beddy whippet collie grey and she only 21n half. does well lamping and an exellent busher but lacks that bit pace for daytime deer and hare.
  8. must agree i ran my bitch while in season last month and wasnt her usally self she still caught some she just wasnt makeing easy work of them.so i think il just rest her in future when shes in season yeah have run mine couple of times this week while in season and thats exactly how i would describe her. still caught a few but wasnt turning as sharp and didnt quite have her usual speed.

  19. i let mine walk off lead as i like her to hunt up as theres not much out in the field during the day etc. when she lamping she doesnt come back as good as she used to i.e. straight back to my side but stands a few metres in front looking around the field until i tell her to come back. depends what sort of dog you have really. if you have a coursing dog i wouldnt to be honest.
