try and avoid having it taken off , if possible , theres some stuff from the health shops , called chondroiterin, glucoseamine, and m.s.n , get some of this into the dog , just mix it in too food , get capsuals if possible , and plenty of rest , i had the same sort of thing, i rested mine for 8 weeks , then only walked it on the lead , on grass for 5 weeks , then small runs on his own , for a few weeks so that he wasnt getting pushed by another dog , i,d go to the vets first to see what they say , but i,d try that stuff it really does work, i aint saying its a miracle cure , but i know it does

thanks for replies lads and its her front inner toe its been swollen for about 7 weeks now, it doesnt seem to bother her when in the garden,i just cant take her out its fustrating for us both, ive spoke to a few lads and they said it shudnt bother her if it has to come off, i think it just isnt setting right

i was hoping to get my dog plenty of work this season but at the begining she broke her toe so i give her plenty of rest and she seemed ok had a few runs and she was fine then out one day had a small run nocked it then back to square 1 so again big spell on the lead for afew weeks but it seems lyk its never goin to heal the smallest of walks has her laid up and limping round the garden is it time for a visit to the vets and get it of and iuf so will she still run ok, cheers allrounder

went on some permission yesturday withmy young lakeland dog (nelson) stitch off here and his bullxgrey (teal) terrier lad also off here and his littlt russle (millie) and another lad and his bullxgrey.anyway we got to our permission about 9 checked an opend up rabbit warren with no success so we pressed on to the next earth we no about it a 6/7 holer wich has held in the past, my dog nelson was keen to enter so off with the lead and he flew in baying after a few seconds,after about 15 mins of baying and banging about the fox bolted and was killed about 800yrds down the feild outside the earth

Fair enough! That explains why my neighbours fox terrier was well able to yap away at my russel at his distance but when he got a nip he didnt know how to take it. Still you cant complain with 150, but the dog wouldnt want to get cornered id say. not every dog is the same, you get goodens and shitens you get hard dogs you get not so hard dogs

if its the 1 i seen its shit they dont have a clue they have 3 to 4 dogs in at a time and drop a load of holes before dog has settled

you should fined some better company mate and witness the job done propperly i watched a dvd other day a mate lent me (digging with terriers) and they were doing the same, they had 3 or 4 terriers in at once i think they were mackems by the sound of it

i no mate but the woman at the farm was chuffed to bits wene we turned up to catch the foxes that have been torchering her hens so would of been nice to take one back to her, weve only had the permission a few weeks and its not short af sport
