FAC Shotguns "should" be granted as an open condition on your FAC, I say should as the Home Office advises FLO's to do this to save them clearing land for shotguns but it's not always the case.

Add 1 cup of balsamic vinegar

I used to use either Eley HB Pigeon or the Lyalvale Pigeon, but in the last 18months I have swapped over to a 28gr 7.5 (English Sporter) cartridge and not seen any difference in birds hit, although you can't go for the odd glory shot at a 50yarder unless you are sure you are on the money that day :icon_redface:
What impression did the FLO give, was he positive or cautious. Usually if there are problems they will go through them with you at time of visit, so they can make their recommendation to the gaffer putting his stamp on it.
If its for violence doubtful you will get a FAC.
Other crimes, depends on how long ago, 10 years seems to be the ballpark for considering a person to have changed their life.
Also, if you got 3 years imprisonment then you never get a FAC
