  1. Who hasn't given their dog an "easy one" ??? Seems like it was a young kid, who didn't know better !! He'll get well f****d by the court, and "there by the grace of God it wasn;t any of us " !!!! Stop slagging the kid !! OK, he shouldn't have recorded it, but how many have done or seen the same ????? Cheers. Not me for one. If you cant enter a dog-terrier or lurcher, without resorting to baiting-and that is exactly what it is, you should not be in the game. Theres a world of difference between killing at the end of a hunt and baiting a captive fox to death. Macho bullshit.
  2. A 2 year old dog in his 2nd season should be proving his worth by now if its seen enough........
  3. a malamute is a big heavy dog i would of thought the first cross would be much to slow and awkward to be any good have you been out with the dog in the picture im curious a bout the malamute cross so i got in touch with ONESHOT he told me he knows the lads very well who run them i asked him a few questions of there ability he woudnt say a lot so im starting to think there not so capable as what you say he told me you have never been out with the half crosses he said you go out with trigger2 and his dog as only a quarter malamute so if he is any good how do you know it comes from the mal
  4. With respect, may i make an observation? 1. Quote-"My point was, about unplanned mating,Timing etc.Not about Inbreeding " The thread is about INBREEDING. 2. quote-"sometimes unplanned matings ,can be put across as Planned and Pedigree get's made up,Due to the Fact,THE SIRE IS NOT KNOWN FOR SURE . ". He knows the parentage-the dogs tied, and the bitch had not been near any other dog. 3. quote-"I don't see a problem if you Know the "Mating". See point 2. Why post? Good post Mosby.
  5. One drawback they can have is a tendency to go to ground,as the terrier often reduces the size. Half a dozen following charlie in could be a bit of a nightmare.
  6. There used to be a quite few lads that hunted scratch packs of beagle and beagle/terrier crosses down in my neck of the woods. Accounted for a fair few fox driving cover to waiting guns and the odd lurcher. Happy days.......
  7. Im going to need a translation on that one Fannies = pussies, idiots, muppets, pair of women etc you get the picture  A Fannie is an arse in the states. Still works though!
  8. Hell-ok coral or what!? At least its not spoiling a good thread like it was. Back to thl reality!
  9. Yet you have repeatedly offered dogs for sale, and selling for "mates" is against the rules of the classifieds.......... Well why dont you just hit the delete botton then Simo..? Simple he's clearly breaking the rules pull yer tongue out of his arse mate the guys only trying to sell pups. Ha love it!, whats the problem its not like hes asking £150 or anything stupid, cant even do favours on here without the little nit pickers getting there 1p in! Oh the irony.........
  10. Lidl were doing one a couple of weeks ago-£15. Get one if you can, they're better than my £120 masterlight!
  11. The russell looks like ones that D. Randall used to breed a few years back. Terrierman for the north Cornwall hunt. I had a bitch from him, one of the best earth dogs I've ever had. Nice dog stormrider.
  12. is that a compliment Whin ? LOL steady on old chap.
  13. Fair play to you nocturnal-your post sounds genuine and sounds like a nice bitch. As simo says,I think you can suss the plebs-theres plenty here. Good luck finding a good home for her-sounds like she deserves it.
  14. Your never going to get two dogs the same out of any litter no matter what the pedigree. It's not just about obedience training either it comes down to what gets put in front of the dog and how often. There's so many different factors that come into play that shape a dog. If you don't put game in front of your dog regularly it won't have much chance of reaching it's potential.....and if Whins dogs were as good as he thinks they are there would be no game left in his area. toby if the owner has so little to do with it how come the same people seem to have a top dog all the time whether
  15. Bought one of the lidl ones-awesome beam. It is way more than 100 lmns. I have a masterlite scopemount that is 250 lmns cost me £120-the cheap one is at least twice as bright and gives a nice tight beam a lot further than the masterlight. I've also got a led lenser P7-smaller and more compact but the beam is nowhere near as bright or tight as the lidl one. The cree led is 3 watt against 1.4 in the lenser. You can definitely use it for lamping smallish fields with dog or gun. I'm a bit of a lamp/torch nut like vin and always on the look out for the perfect, tight beam with no side scatter and
  16. started taking him out at 7 and a half weeks watching and learning. That early stuff has obviously ruined him, like most said it would. As for the malamute blood- makes him even worse eh? Nice strong pup trigger, doing you proud.
  17. Sorry to hear about Danny wirralman, its a gutter when you lose them. Regarding Brian Plummer, there are plenty that will rubbish him,it seems to go with the territory with success. A lot of 'names' in the working terrier/lurcher world are subjected to the same treatment. Come to think of it it seems to be a peculiarly British trait in most walks of life-folk in general react to success in others with jealousy and contempt. No,Plummer was far from perfect, but no one can deny he left quite a legacy.. The 'knockers' might ask themselves what they themselves have actually achieved?
  18. They can test traces of Preys DNA on dog, vehicles, clothes etc. (They have in a few cases). You dont need to be caught in the act ,If you did it they can nail you.
  19. The man made his living from writing.I've heard about some of the 'stories' supposedly 'borrowed'. Maybe he should be forgiven for using artistic licence. Some can tell a story in an entertaining and often humorous way and some cant.............
