  6. She was only 22.1/2" punched well above her weight. Her son by a deer/ grey. 27" one of the hardest dogs I've seen.
  7. Me and a pal borrowed a couple of bags one night. Gutted when we got home, bags were marked pig feed only! ?
  8. Did he actually do that Dan? I did hear rumours.
  9. If they're working I'll have them mate.?
  10. Didn't you put collie blood in there Phil? I seem to remember reading about deerhound/ greyhound/ collie in the old shooting news.
  11. Anything cordless, as bright as the 120 but narrower beam mate?
  12. I had 2 for an 8 foot box. Can I tempt you to part with any Tomo? ?
  13. You can have a bucket of mine for half that.
  14. As Saltmoon said, you may have to feck up some lamping, teaching recall on the lamp but he'll get the hang of it. After all he's used to hunting up, so it's just a new type of work he needs to learn. I'm in the process of the same thing with mine, he hunts like a demon daytime but he'll soon learn to run up and down the beam. Patience is key bud.
  15. Reinforcement to return when the lamp goes off. See Sandy's post.
  16. So basically hope for the best jobi? Take the dog out with the lamp where there are no rabbits and teach recall/ reward when the lamp goes off. Do it when he's near you and increase the distance until he returns every time. Get him to retrieve a dummy with the lamp.
  17. Vandal, the dog in my pic was the foundation of the remlap line, which produced some outstanding earth dogs. Some could be a little on the hard side, but they got the job done.
  18. He was a big fan. Uh huh thankyeverymuch.
  19. Not breaking any records further darn sarf! Lot of sweet feeding calls- no Mrs I won't spray your bush. ?
  20. The hound blood shows in a lot of them. Mine would bay on a line, great fun hunting cover. Nobody told mine they don't stay to ground either, they did. Some would kill below too.
  21. Does anyone have any Mk1 Micro collars for sale?
  22. Good all round terriers Charlie. Mine would hunt like hounds, work with ferrets/gun and to ground. Biddable type of dog and versatile. Not a dog to leave in a kennel, they need to be kept busy.
  23. Cracking pup that mate, hope she does well for you. Nice bitch too.
