    Quality mate that's the sort of style I'm looking for quick killers but also have that wind for when needed. I run all types of land sheep paddocks, moors, tight hedge land and big land so I like a dog that can do a bit of everything. the stud I'm using is a fast dog with plenty of wind also. Like anything with breeding it can go either can only cross your fingers and hope for the best. What was scouser like mate am I right in saying he retired early also ?

    My honest opinion is that I think the problem with Lucas was he was getting studded out for money to any bitch and then you were getting a fair amount of shite bred from him as well as fair amount of good dogs which is fair enough the dog proved itself and it's the owners business on what he see's fit. But. I think dogs as good as them should be going to select bitchs to keep the genes strong

    Just the crack mate People get to hung up on dogs too many people want this status of being known as atop dog man see it all the time. im like you mate I'd slip anywhere and distance I've not got an ego to uphold if the dog misses then it misses long as it puts on a good show.

    You know yourself the same people over and over always have a handy animal by their feet that ain't no coincidence. You need a good manager behind a dog to bring them on properly You could have a champion with the best blood on the end of a lead but if it's in the wrong hands it can become a pot licker

    Being truthful there's good and bad in all breeds you can only do so much until you slip that lead then it's down to the dog. The dog I was out with wasn't a bad dog at all just steady with its running would have suited more down your way. I like all dogs mate i don't care how there bred don't get to hung up on names a good dog is a good dog to me. I know men see one or two dogs from a line then right all that blood off that's not for me. obviously if your breeding you want some good breeding added to try give you best possible chance of having good offspring

    Had one out couldn't put a bend in a hare where I run. Plenty speed and what not just not aggressive enough to do anything with the hare

    His mate from Manchester that he was running with the last few seasons not his dog they were saying it could have been the be of the best bitches they had seen and best in the country.... hence why he ended up with Lucas stock in his kennel
