  1. i have 6/8th whippet 1/8thgreyhound 1/8 bedlington bitch, she is 12mth 22'' to the shoulder and 35lb. she is very loyal and obediant, retrieves live to hand, can be very head strong but have to keep on top of her, love the cross, wouldnt have anything else.
  2. personally beddy cross, i hunt same sort of land, and this is what i have, she is bedd whippet greyhound x whippet 22''tts and 35lb
  3. looks a nice pup good strong bone all the best.
  4. i have a first cross that i bred seven years ago, the dam a racing bred greyhound from ireland, the sire was a blue welsh hill collie, very strong boned dog not like any other collie ive seen since. Pups had a bit too much bone which affected the speed, and agility of the ones i saw run. the one i kept was a dog, made 26''tts and more like a 3/4 bred to look at but still could not turn quick enough. personally i would prefer a hal cross put back to a grew, the touch of whippet would create sharper dogs that can turn much easily.
  5. whippet x beddy, personal pref. speed and sharpness of the whippet and determination and kill of the bedlington.
  6. a good friend of mine has a 5/8 greyhound 3/8 whippet, very good catch dog and kills with ease, just seems to lack in stamina, and is very short on brain cells!
  7. personally i would go for beddy whippet greyhound, reason being slightly more length in leg, better length in back for covering ground quicker, and the greyhound seems to give them steady temprament. just my opinion though, in experience and i do own this cross.
  8. just wondering if any one on the site purchased a pup of this cross from guisbrough in about april 2008, would like to know how rest of the litter is doing? the dam was pure whippet, and sire beddy whippet greyhound. any info appreciated, thanks.
