i have been fishing this fishery for a year or so know it is about 13 to 15 acers in size lots of small roach and rudd in witch NO ONE fishes for. it costs £310 a year to bloody fish it but its a nice enough place to fish.on this warter were it is packed out week days people stoppin there for four nights in a roe solid it hets hard to say the least.i think the most carp caught this year was 24 including the lakes biggest fish a 37 pound common carp called the wart. i had nothing planned this weekend so i rang my dad and asked him to drop me off down there for a night i got there around 9am f

right i no this is a bit of a silly question but i have never used a ferret locator before but i have had one know and before i use it i would like to have a few tips on how to use it.e.g does it mean the ferret is underneath my feet when the bleeps fast ? sorry to ask this question but i dont know how to use one

thinking of getting a new ferreting spade got to be a fold up one due to i might have to run with it in a bag :11: any ideas ??

i watched it and it is a great film more too do with lamping fox then anything else. what really pisses me off is you see the dogs runnin the foxes and the rabbits are just sitting there watching why carnt i get ground like that :11:

Have you ever lost ferrets when ferreting?

i did it by putting them in the hole :11: nah my ferrets work deep and we was doing a big set and it got dark i waited until half past five in the pitch black and went home but i had a walk over were i lost it to day and there one of them was its now back in the ferret pen -

lost 2 of the buggers yesterday bloody gutted but my fault for not having a locator -
i have a whippetxgrayhound she will be one in december. i think that if you want one for ferreting you cannot go wrong with this cross mine is 23 1/2 inches to shoulder she is a good lamping dog. good at ferreting not bad at bushing bags of stamina i dont think you can go wrong with this cross but when it comes to fox its more like baiting one than acctuley killing one. mine dont retrive though but not really botherd :11:
