  3. well that was a bloody anti climax,my missus egging him on with each peg ,nothing worse than running out of pegs, clever little fecker il give him that
  4. very nice mate, certainly looks in good shape
  5. the way things are going in 5 years time you wont be able to hunt feck all with a dog,we will all own fat pot lickers for pets to keep the missus company while we at work and just dream of the old times
  6. heard it was in richmond park
  7. out of site from casual visitors,be fine mate
  8. iv got someone on the look out for me but thanks anyway
  9. cheers,but definately no thanks
  10. yeah i know mate, just need someone in the know to put me onto a decent litter instead of me trolling through pups for sale and second guessing, about time i had a decent dog
  11. trouble is iv never had any problems with the few types iv had, hate to go through the rearing only to find my poor dogmanship(is that a word )proves to produce a yapper that i could not put up with, and yes i know cant fault them all but a bit off puttting to hear this problem all to often mentioned cheers i always respect your opinions
  12. well have to say fom what iv been reading on them, from what iv seen and what lads have told me the idea of owning one was short lived re-think time How about a first cross deerhound greyhound? I cant speak from expereince as mine hasnt started yet. I think mine will end at 25 to 26 inch so should do a bit of everything I hope. doxhope/cooklands generally come up smaller than some 1st xs. I never picked mine out but she was a runt and shes about 23 half to 24 at 7 month, If you picked a small bitch pup she might suite you I know the idea of ending up with a 30 inch giant puts people off

logged on,could not think of a user name looked up at the book shelf, hey presto"WATCHMAN"by chris ryan, yes i did read all that shite wet dogs smell, always made me chuckle, good name and very true
  15. a lot of lads have beddy/whippet/grey types for example and the yapping is all to frequantly mentioned amongst them, only seen two work myself and both yappers, they cant all be shite dog men so must be a common trait from the beddy side, neither of the two i seen work was with terriers so no reason for them to pick up bad habbits both were lamping dogs, shear frustration, who knows but not for me,been put off by the whole idea of getting one
  16. certainly no more expensive than a decent lurcher but it dont stop em mate no matter what the type given the chance they will have it away, hope the lad gets them back soon as
  17. i didnt realise this yapping thing was quite so common, another page of this il be looking for a saluki x lurcher instead
  18. i should of done the same on mine years ago, missus was not having any of it,so got rid................................................the car i mean not the missus, although it was a close call looks ok that mate
  19. certainly the kind of height im looking for
  20. just seen the pic of yours on the other thread, out of interest what height are they
  21. was thinking of one of these to begin with but iv since been advised that a beddy/.grey will be more versatile/handle a hard nights lamping a lot better
