    cheers,but definately no thanks Whys that then watchman Mick.. we all know what we like and although the look of a traditional lurcher can be appealing im just not overly keen on their working ability from what iv seen,now this does not count for much il be the first to admit as iv only ever seen three working the lamp,weather down to the dogs or the owners is not for me to say just not quite what id be after thats all,as been said good and bad in all types and from what iv read on here good genuine lads that know their stuff and work their dogs are more than happy with them but

    its funny what we can come up with at times to get us out the shit you can always heat up a boil in the bag ready meal if you out for the night and get peckish

    cant beat it well done just to add my mates dog got kicked by a horse the other week seemed ok when it went back to him so he tells me,even ran another rabbit afterwards and caught it 15 min later dropped dead and he been lamping the paddocks with horses for years just goes to show you it can happen

    if so many lads are bringing on their beddy types with good results then why are so many on here week in week out trying to find answers to stop theirs yapping are there really that many lads just doing it all wrong,continualy entering young unfit dogs and with a type that is easily spoilt it seems, think i would make sure to go that extra mile to get it right knowing this in the first place

    a yapper is this trait hereditary ?,plenty lads come up with their own conclusions on why a dog may become a yapper,not fit enough,that type known for it,entered to early the list goes on etc but is it more likely that a litter from one will more often than not produce another,never bred a litter myself but would want as close to the best i could find as possible and one that gave tongue no matter its working capabilities just wouldnt suit me although completly understand that some lads can put up with it after all you prob had it over a year till you find out and might not be keen to get rid

    bedy whippet greyhound only seen three of this type run and all three yapped. one of the three would only yap on first couple runs but like you say with all of them it was once they turned the rabbit and lost that bit of ground good luck but wouldnt hold your breath
