  1. i like to use double peged nets i had one single pull out once and lost the fox (my fault probs) so i use double now but i make them a few mesh wider than normal
  2. well i have a dog hear she is 9 years old now is she to old to breed from? she was/is a belting dog and i should have had a pup from her already she has had one litter and we gave them all away and they turned out cracking now i dread the day she goes to the running ground in the sky but i want a pup off her befor that happens. so what do you all think to old? or not?

  8. we have most drives on hoppers and spinning with feed scatterd thrue the pine woods in bad weather. two drives in the forestery platation are whisle fed just to stop the birds buggering off and red deer ruin the hoppers, i like whisle feeding if i have to move the birds a distance from pen to drive or hold them in a very tight place.
  9. last season i would have said the same mate, but ive had 2 pairs of meindle antatiks in 7 months same problems on both them lace hooks snapping or pulling out stud and all. ive had a old pair of hoggs for a lot of years and i realy rate them.
  10. look up the law my freind. bds say. you CAN shoot deer with a shot gun as long as you are eather the owner of the land or have his permission and you use shot size AAA or larger. it is not recomended theirfore people think its illicit.

  15. well i set off out from the yard walking my new ess pup(awsome)i headed up past the 3 main pens to the cover crop when from the corner of my eye i seen this wee fellow. so doing my best to stay unseen or heard with a springer pup this in not easy. i jogged back to the house for the gun put the dog away and made it sharpish back up the hill. i went bottem side of the wood to try and cut him off on the direction he was moveing. up the headge keeping low, over the fence have a look thrue the nettles damm he was away down the other end where i had been earlier ah well i could stalk in to him fro

  20. newton rigg 1000000% it has its own 300ach shoot and stalking rights in greystoke forest so thats stalking and shooting you get to do as well as fishing crow shooting every 2 weeks. duck flighting on collage and ferreting and your own trapine and a 5 trap clay ground awsome teachers awsome place the best year of my life their!!
  21. i think if its for bait fish- sand eels its ok but you may have a close season on the beach near you in cumbria we have 4 box areas that have close seasons due to salmon runs. if you ask you loacal sea fishiries commitie they will give you help just google it
  22. gate nets are normaly used at night for hares so it doesnt realy matter, i like a darker net thou green dark red or hemp i like the net do both top and bottem slide or is it just bottem
