If you read the OP properly, you will see that the poster is worried about non-targets, as they know they are in the area.
A snare in this situation would be totally irresponsible, and it is very poor to advise using them in this case.
Cage trapping would allow for any non-targets caught to be released unharmed.
Snares are great in the right circumstances, but not in this case.

a snare if it is well set WILL NOT catch badgers as they will pass under it dogs however will. also if you have a snare with charli
