  5. not at all, as ever your posts are valued greatly. but my post was not ment to induce dick swinging or be a "whats the most" type of post...perhaps i should have worded it better too what lenth of net CAN YOU work single handed at night, like i say i only use 150m but have chance to drop and work up to 300m and perhaps a bit more with chance of a lot of rabbits being caught,i dont want to be running more than i can work (thou i dont know how much that is) i must add that i get paid for a lot of my rabbiting and/or sell my catch for a not bad price so its as much a living as it is a hobby, henc
  6. hi all ive got a few drops up north along very long banks wick with rabbits now their can be up to 200 rabbits out feeding (netrigger you know the place ) now ive only ever used 150m of net at night on my own but this place could have 300m plus out with ease, so what the most you have used or know of being used safely

  15. Vans are great, but cost more to insure and more to tax. I'd favour an estate or large hatchback over a van these days. my berlingo is only 130 a year to insure, the tax is 220 ish Is that with Coffin Dodger Insurance Ltd? That's fair enough but for younger drivers a car derived van will be two or three hundred a year more to insure and the tax is silly. For instance a 1.6CDTi Fiesta Sport Van is £215 a year to tax compared to £30 a year for the exact same Fiesta Car. All in it's a big saving for a younger driver. i have a partner van and its £660 to insure fully comp
  16. well ime lucky enugh to have had a LOT of hands on with reds some if the biggest in scotland too 21 stone 17 point leviathans i dont recon theirs a dog i the country that could take a big healthy stag on its own if the stag was on the hill you would need a propr set of dogs to even keep up with it let alone take it down and hold it untill you got their, ive had to kill 2 very mobile stags with a knife before and its not as easy as you would think i finished one with a fecking opinel !
  17. cages, then fenns then magnums . what i used to do was dig 10inch round pipe aropund 6-10ft long into a bank there a stream meets a river or pond then cut a hole in the top and cover that with a stone with a cage in each end or trap in each end and then you have the to bait it if you want thru the hole under the stone if that makes sence? unbaited cages were the biggest catcher thou

  19. is that nylon or mono inners? how much is 50md nylon thease days? net marks are a dead giveaway of foul play. ringing the net works ok if moveing water if you have a team that know the score, and you know the bottom is clean not full of snags. do you make comercial gills for boats? if so pm inbound
