    what does a side like Kilmarnock average 5,000 ?. did you know that kilmarnock has a population less than 45,000 ? and did you know the population of hamilton is also less than 50,000? not a lot to choose from especially when you mentioned before that london has more of a population than scotland. glasgow has a population of 600,000 which teams should have the bigger support ? you do the maths....... james

    gnasher ur right scottish fitba is shite plain and simple - i agree. but it wasnt so long ago that celtic and rangers were doing well in either european competition,notice i said well and not great. i can destinctly remember celtic beating liverpool/blackburn and doing very well against manchester united 2 yrs on the trot,also doing well against juve/barcelona etc etc.....and thats with playing in a pish league so although we play in a pish rotten league when we had a better quality player and wage structure,we done well in europe against teams who were expected to roll us over,think how ha

    highest attended european game.... Celtic v Leeds Utd in the European Cup semi-final 1970 at Hampden Park, Glasgow. Official attendance 133,961 is apparently highest attendance in Europe. long time ago i admit but still the biggest crowd ever recorded at a european game.

    100,000 was the estimated figure for people who would likely attend. 250,000 was more likely the amount who turned up and thats what caused manchester police such a headache as they hadnt anticipated such a large scale support,and certainly hadnt prepared for them.

    Now its just getting silly .....what you are not taking into account,is in London alone there is around 10 big football clubs to choose from.....theres only 2 big clubs in the whole of Scotland !!..... Manchester is an area of what 20 square miles,theres 2 huge clubs.....we can all sit and reel off how many people go to football but theres a lot your not taking into account.....     i would also like to add that celtic reserves v rangers reserves a few yr ago was the 3rd highest attendance at any ground in britain that week. reserves 30,000 plus. name me a team any where that gets 30,000 to a reserve game? james

    i am a celtic fan,and i think both celtic and rangers have bigger support bases than any club in the world,big statement i agree. can i prove it not realistically,but i'll have a little stab at it. celtic and rangers regularly get 50,000 plus in there stadiums playing in scotland i.e motherwell/hamilton/hibs/hearts. celtic and rangers getting entry to the epl could both build 100,000 seater stadiums and fill it regular : ie man u/chelsea/liverpool/west ham etc etc.. celtic seville eufa cup estimated 100,000 fans rangers manchester eufa cup estimated 250,000 fans name me 2 clubs

    i'm a taxi driver,and one of our lads got his face slashed last week for asking for his £5 fare very wrong in my opinion. another guy a couple of yr ago got a hypodermic needle put to his throat and his cash stolen. again very wrong. we have to put up with some serious shit guys. give us a break. james.

    happened to my 1st lurcher,nasty she totally snapped the ligament,got the op done,she always had a limp but could still run,it was hard to watch her,but she still enjoyed a sort of hunting life,till she tumbled on the chase and hurt same leg again,i would say retire her and get something else in. sorry to say it but i hated running her knowing she wasnt as good as she was. james she was eventually pts.

    shit luck,my black bitch has a bad eye she had the same problem tho the thorn went in and came back out on its own,went to the vet he said she was lucky,it damaged her eye but she can still see out it,she sometimes loses rabbits on the lamp depending what way they turn and the lamp shines. but she still manages to hunt,hope the whippet can still do a bit for ya. james.
