  1. Long shot I know but a couple of years ago there was a keeper on here from the Newmarket area who was selling some nice looking cocker pups. I'm looking for a stud dog and wondered if he might have one but haven't a scooby who he is. Anyone know?
  2. After a bit of advice please ....... One of the rabbits I caught today had a few white spots/patches on the liver. Obviously not suitable for human consumption but would it be OK for ferrets? Or should I just bin it? Thanks.
  3. Sorry i'm sure this has been asked before but one of my 8ft collars has just decided not to work properly (intermittent bleeping and distance all over the place). Does anyone know if the new Mk 3 collars work with the old knocker box? I don't know if mine's Mk1 or Mk2 - it's the one with the ferret picture on. Any advice gratefully received.
  4. There aren't many times I find myself agreeing with the Taliban - but I would cut their bl**dy hands off - thieving b*****ds. Good luck with getting him back mate! ATB
  5. Also David Arthurs near Rotherham does repairs, sells re-conditioned boxes and makes new collars (£30 a piece). His number is in April's Sporting Gun.....

If these are 12 bore I'll take 'em mate
  7. Yep, I'd go with that. Bought a pair for season 08/09 for beating/shooting. They're were the mutts' until all the snow in January this year when both boots failed epically at the sole/boot joint and I ended up very wet and cold feet. 'Phoned Hamish at Blackislander to be quizzed about whether I'd been drying them out on a radiator, etc. (like I'm an idiot) and then told well "Quite a few of my customers are quite happy if they last a season;they think they've done really well". Well sorry, pal, but if I shell out the thick end of 200 notes on a pair of boots, I expect them to last more than ab
  8. I will have these if you can do them for £65 POSTED. Best wishes, Ali P
