    Looking forward to our outing mickey- fine looking dog you have. Thats what i was on about earlier- even though they may not be world beaters they have that little bit more than any others.

    you can buy a hancock pup 4 to 6 months old off hancock for 150 has a few there and done nothing eather for less Have you seen the older ones he has left- biggest load of shite out- un-socialised, not even lead trained half the time. My mate had one, 6months old 150, got it home and couldnt go near it it, after few weeks he had to re-home it.

    It would be nieve to think that they were totally fool proof, they might be the dogs bollox but theres always ways and means around things.

    Its a good idea but its bit like cat n mouse. Someone comes up with an idea to prevent crimminal activity then the criminal comes up with a genius way around it- its like its aalways been. lol

    There is no such thing as the 'best breed' of lurcher. It's horses for courses type thing, im not asking what your view is on the best breed to be an all-rounder, because that would be impossible as theres many good dogs of very different breeding. I am just interested in what was your best dog out off all, theres always one thats got that little bit more than the rest. Wether you soley take rabbits or do rabbits and the bigger stuff. The one for me was a staight collie greyhound, big heart and would do anything i asked, true servant. Look forward to reading your replies. ATB HH

    Im fairly new to this site, but im not new to the hunting stuff i.e lamping, ferreting etc. My favoured sport is lamping with lurchers and ive been doing this for around 6years- still a novice though- plenty yet to learn. During an outing last night with a friend we discussed the possability of advertising on here for the odd nights lamping in other areas of the country rather than shropshire where we live. There been posts on here about peoples nights out bagging 30-40+ rabbits and we would like to tag along with our dogs as we never see that many on the land which we work- rabbits are farley
