    heres anther point/ a good one as it happens. i have been informed, although i havent looked yet, but apparantly there are a number of these things for sale evry week , in the classifeids second hand in the farming papers. wich just proves there no good. who would spend best part of 2k on a tool and then sell it so soon after. not your avrage deep pocketed farmer

    no knots, put the ring or tubing over the pole, twist it , so it looks like a figure 8 , then back over the pole. its just the same as when you are putting a rubber band round a parcel or somthing , over, twist and back over. if theres is still slack in the rubber twist it again and back over.

    right chaps, a good mate of mine who's a keeper went to watch a demonstration of this tool yesterday. unfortunatly i wasn't there , but my mate is straight up and wont bullshit. there wrere a hancfull of other people also watching this demo as well. keepers and farmers . any way up to the first rabbit warren , loads of gas pumped under ground for a few mins , then light it BANG. then straight after the fella doing the demo starts filling in the entrance holes my mate says what you doing that for. the demo man replies to stop anything comming out. my mate says ," but i thou

    i dissagre, i think very few people would come back and poach it. most of the people who come are going to come from a fair distance a way, probly hundreds of miles . most of the lads that do these kinds of holidays usualy go a long way frome there own areas , i know a few lads from the midlands that go to to right up scotland , the idea is to go somwhere new . these are not the kind of distances that lads will travel to poach .. and with mark being right at the very bottom of the uk , i think he would be ok . .now you may get the odd ones , but on the hole i think you would be ok

    yes mate they suspect you , thats why all the questions. because they know there very unlikly to catch the culprit red handed, they are asking the people who already have acsses, and who they know has guns

    the best way i have found, especialy for young lads is beating on a driven game shoot, find out all the little shoots in your area. then go round asking the keepers if they want any extra beaters. once your on beating keep your nose clean do as the keepers ask, once they trust you you should get some, or at least get invited of people that are already on there.

    poor old socks i will atempt to answer the question for ya. i think what mark is saying socks is , he takes both out lamping, one in the truck, one running next to it, and running rabbits he lamps . then he swaps over. thats kind of how i understood it

    THAT SEEMS LIKE A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF RABBITS 7-8 THAT THE DAM OF YOUR DOGS COULD MANAGE. I HAVE SEEN A FEW WHIPP/GREYS RUN , AND THEY CAN CERTAINLY DOUBLE IF NOT TREBBLE THAT SCORE. JUST THINK HOW MUCH BETTER YOUR DOGS WOULD HAVE BEEN IF YOU HAD USED A QUALITY ANIMAL

    why do i keep repeating my self to you. i already said i concider them lurchers, just like yours. i said this earlier if yours had a smoth coat , it would be a racing dog. any way what is the actual piont of this thread ?????????? are you saying that lurcher racing should be for what you concider lurchers to be. eg, colie x , beddy x, ect ,ect . cos if this is what you mean , you will be suspicouse of evry smooth coated speedy looking dog .     you love to argue mark your colie grey hound , aint a colie greyhound is it. theres only 1/8 in the mix the other 7/8 87.5 % is grey/whipp if those whipp/greys arnt lurchers , then yours isnt either. me personaly i still think a whipp/grey is a lurcher, as are yours, . but i can garante if yours had a smoth coat . it would look identical to those racing machines.

    for those that have not read all my posts. did a job last year , cought the female straight a way , was then having problems getting the babys in traps . so me up in loft , with lamp , and jill ferret , with collar and line. my mate stood out side with the air rifle, and shot what came out. the jill made short work of the young , with me being able to gently pull her back to me with each baby .
