    intresting stuff, they shure do look big those boys. by the way wolves are difrent sizes around the world , the ones in europe are far smaller and genraly quite lean especialy in the warmer climates

    a mate of mine went up there a few times to his place, for dogs. and had some nights on the piss with him. whats that saying . "it was emotional" .

    thats it lamps , just keep at it very often the best way to lern is by mistakes, we all do it

    to be honest lamps , that net doesn't look to have much bag in it. although that could just be the pic. also on the second pic down, that peg (pole) is either not pushed in far enough cos the bottom line is sitting high . another tip, is to set the poles at an angle. so that the rabbits runn on to the mesh., and the top line could do with being tighter. apart from that just keep practicing mate, its the only way to lern . all the best TOMO

    nice bit o land there fella, some nice ferreting by the looks dont know why it would be no good for the dog, looks a good place to lamp , down that winter wheat field next to the bank, looks ideal.

    well done on winning LDR , there always deleting people on HU do you know if tomos still a mod or have they deleted him after they said he cheeted in his match against mark prick ! Im still a mod there, and as far as i know none of the admin on there has said i cheated, the only person who wasnt happy on that site was mark. the admin just let me and mark argue the toss the other night, me and all the adsmin on hunters united get on well

    i also have one , kelpie/grey x whipp/grey. as the others have said great feet , and great staminar , and mines only 1'/4 . mine hates terriers . very agile , streight over gates and fences with out touching , always predicts wich holes rabbits will bolt from. the down side with mine is she will open up on some quarry.

    [an intresting trap that chalkie, its like a giant mole trap looks a good strong spring , not unlike the kania. whats the traps intended victim in its home country?? cheers TOMO

    what was jackerbricks reason for jacking? mark complained at the lack of rabbits and ok 20 might not be a huge score but we still had 1 hour 10 mins to run , and would have got in to the 3o's.

    Well not alot to add , exactly what longdog said in his earlier post. mark packed in at 1 hour50 mins, complaining of the lack of rabbits, we had exactly 20 ( 9 to cat and 11 to bruce, cat missing 5 and bruce missing 2. with bruce to run next.) I repeatedly asked mark to carry on as we would probably got in the high 30's but he was adamant he was packing in. To be honest i was very dissapointed as i have been getting on with mark as of late, and i thought this was a poor show. anyway well done to ldr and bruce . heres a pic at the end of night

    I bought her as a 6 week old pup I forget exactly how old before I had enough and sent her to the happy hunting ground but she was given plenty chances!!! Some folk may be happy with 5 rabbits but not me! The simple fact is no matter how you dress it up not all dogs make the grade even on rabbits. agreed some dogs just dont make the grade, no matter how you try to dress it up

    one of the lads in the comp that i was reffing had a lazerlight like that, ( not the pot on it) its just its not set up right , theres alot of ajusting you can do to the lazerlight. also putting the wrong bulbs in fecks em up

    intresting thread this , just to touch slightly on traps killing instantly, watch allan samons excelent little film on trapping and stuff. he films rats actualy going in to some body grips set on runs. and i did not see 1 single rat killed instantly , they all take a varying amount of times to die. not having a go at the film here, or the man. as i said its a good film from a forward thinker like snareman. but just to highlight that death can take a few mins somtimes
