  3. first time ferreting the dales for about 6 week, just me and paddy today , nobby was at work firly straight forward day today , rabbits bolting well only 2 digs ,both less than 1 foot not alot to wright about realy . ended the day with 30 packed in at 2 pm as i wanted to see the keeper on the next bit of MY DALES heres a few pics some sceinic shots across the vally , in front is the fence line i walk along whilst lamping 4 from this 3 holer in a few mins

  7. thers a few difrent models in there range, like kiwi or kiwi lite ect. wich ones are water proof the best. as each model claims to be water proof but one claims to be the most waterproof yet.
  8. most of us that do big plases early in the season do the same stubby, i have put a 3 foot hutch in the van befor now a word of warning DONT put the water bottle up whilst driving, the vibrations couse it to leak wich then soaks the cage but to be honest at this time of year i dont bother its plenty cold enough, even if ya stay behind to lamp for a few hours the ferts will be fast asleep after working all day

  13. so long as the rabbit is killed humanily thats the main thing but let me just say , a rabbit does NOT need its head through the mesh to chin you can do it whilst its balled up and if your in public view , it is farm more profesional looking than either the strech or a priest, now im not saying the strech or a prist aint quik , just saying what looks best when being watched. the thing is with chinning is its a real nack to doing it, and is very difficult to teach,

Hi whin was mb's collie cross 7/8 greyhound and 1/8 collie and ran against a 15month old saluki cross so not that big a supprise i might not have the right information so could be wrong yes you are correct its 1/8 colie. so like i keep saying it aint a colie cross its a whipp/grey that being said its still a handy little dog what ever its breeding Whatever anyone thinks of MB,and I don't know him ,it must be said he gets out and does a lot of rabbiting,,judging from his old posts,and his little bitch must be handy little dog indeed as it gets a lot in its gob.Watchout Tomo he can

  23. had a look up there last night with asd and hh, and andys 2 irish mates, they were over having a colie bitch mated to jack. wel what can i say apart from fecking freezing within miniutes my clothes were soaked through , then they started to stiffen up with the cold . my trousers were making my legs so cold , that i serriously thought if i stay out here i could get hypo. so after only getting half way round i thought feck it . as i was walking down the road back to the car, a landrover pulled up behind, it was the moor keeper from the next bit of ground, once he realised we were on pe
