  4. Looked on johnsons my self earlier. They were quoting £47, so guess you have added £5 postage. Best of luck to anyone trying to buy from them at that price and hope they honor it. £47 for the mk 3 and £52 for the mk3m
  5. I have no doubt that a couple of days ago you could have got new Mk3M collars for £45, not any more. The price of them is moving up quickly with the exchange rate going in the wrong direction. Deben are quoting £65 each. Plenty of people on EBay are prepared to pay stupid prices for Mk1 stuff. It takes some beleiving but I'm confident of at least £35 for a broken finder on EBay and £50 for a working terrier collar. deben may wel quote 65, but on johnsons website TODAY they are £52, and like i said yours are second hand, in other words , bought as seen , no garantee.
  6. Have you made a mistake with the pricing rab. brand new collars from johnsons , kp&s are only £50, and having dealt with these in the past if you buy 4 together you will get discount and a brand new mk3m reciever, is only £100. your stuff is second hand, so should reflect that.
  7. should have read this topic first

  9. http://www.doghealth.co.uk/heatlamp.htm £20 for the lamp extra £7.50 for the bulb if bought together. £12 for the bulb on its own. + postage for them i used this company and the bulb came through the post with no probs. it may have been a parcel courier i cant remember. but like multi1 said above , if you have a farm suplies local go there
  10. regarding the air rifle/air pistiol thing, the crossman ratcatcher, that you take the skelton stock off is classed as a rifle , but is as small and handy as a pistol , an ideal weapon for killing in the cage , if thats your prefered method.

  16. I HAVE TO SAY I LIKED MASTER HUNTERS NETS, I HAVE A 20 YRD STOP NET, LOVE THE POLES VERY NICE NET TO USE. BUT THIS IS JUST ON A 20 YRD NOW FOR THE DOWN SIDE, I PERSONLY DONT THINK THERE ARE ENOUGH POLES WITH HIS QUIK SETS , MY 20YRD HAD 3 POLES , THATS ONE EVRY 10 YARD , I HAVE ADDED ANOTHER SO THERE ROUGHLY EVRY 7 YRD. NOW I KNOW MY EXPERIANCE WITH THEM IS LIMITED JUST TO THE 20YRD , BUT HERES A QUESTION FOR ANY BODY THAT HAS USED ONE A HUNDRED YARD OR MORE AT NIGHT. WITH THE POLES TAPERING FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM , DOES IT AFECT THE WAY THEY SIT IN THE BASKET, AND DOES TH

  18. yes it does say that arron, but on the linc i put up on the other thread, it says the romans did. wel im off to work now , but in the morning i will do a search about that roman dig
  19. The reason some people query whether Romans introduced them is that the Romans were here 4000 years before any evidence of rabbite were found so the quetion is why did they wait so long to introduce them? zig zag i think you are confused, romans were here from around 1ad till 3ad , about 2000 year ago, not 4000 , we were all cavemen 4000 year ago. in fact one or two on here still are but like i said it was in the news a year or so ago that rabbit remains were found at a roman dig , confirming they were here when the romans were. weather they brought them in my opinion is st
  20. its now known its not a fact about the normans , like i said on the other thread they have found rabbit bones at a recent dig on roman ruins. so if they were brought hear it was the romans. personly i like to think they were already here , but there was just no evidence of them. i thought there was a land bridge as recent as about 5000 years ago, when where the channel was an area of swamp and marsh land.
  21. HERE YOU GO ARRON http://www.bbc.co.uk/nature/animals/pets/rabbits.shtml

  24. but joe , snoop is also a nightwalker as well, i have seen is other dog work well on the lamp. i do think its poor when iether camp , day or night lads , have a go at the others. i realy cant get my head round it. personly i could never stop lamping , or daywalking , love them both. and have dogs for both , with a bit of crossover. live and let live boys. would be intresting to see the king of the fens have another run there, after all his dog has cought 3 hares on the fens, in TOTAL
  25. ok arron , grey squirrels arnt native to this country, rabbits on the other hand were reported to be introduced by the romans around 2000 year ago. i think that prety much qualifies them to be native. personly i think they were already hear it was only a 2000 years erlier we were conected to europe , but thats another debate. also your name is aronpigion plucker, so i asume you shoot pigions. there also native
