same as me mole trapper, i also have them in the back garden . with one or 2 little warrens in the deviding hedge. for the most part i leave them compleatly alone. the most i have counted was 13 in my garden last summer . 3 adults the rest young , in two seperate litters diffrent ages. its great to just sit and watch them and there habbits. there have benn a number of ocations when the lurchers has been laid down chewing a bone and not 20 feet behind her the young bunnys have come out to feed.

THE WATER AINT AN ISUE , NOT AT THIS TIME OF YEAR. THE THING WITH THIS STORY IS THE TIME. IF THE CAT OWNER LET THE CAT OUT IN THE MORNING. AND THE TRAPPER CHECKED HIS TRAP THAT EAVNING , APROX 12 HOURS LATER AND THE CAT WASNT IN. BUT STILL WANDERING. THEN AT SOME POINT AFTER THE TRAPPER CHECKED THE TRAP THE CAT GOES IN . THEN HE GOES AWAY AND CHECKS 24 HOURS LATER. JUST A FEW MINS EARLIER THE OWNER OF THE CAT FINDS IT AND COMES TO THE CONCLUSION ITS BEEN IN THE 48 HOURS WHEN IN FACT ITS BEEN IN 24 HOURS OR LESS . DOES THIS MAKE SENCE.

what about apple pie serriously though i had a pie floater in adaliade in oz . got to say its one of the best pies i have ever had. but all this mass producesd ginsters , frey bentoss is all shit . best pies are home made types or the litle butchers that specilse in them. with a nice crust, chunky pieces of steak and gravy

there is no difinitive answer mate. some hares prefer to lie up in the hedges or in woodland. others in there forms in the centre of fields. weather can play apart to, if you have fields that are uneaven or rise up slightly, the hare will often lie here getting out of the wind and weather. but dont forget the woods, copses and rough set a side. one place i used to have the coursing rights on was like this . and i was for ever telling people i had invited to walk the rough. cos most of them just wanted to walk the centre field. after they seen a few dozen get up in set a side

YOU COULD TRY HOOP SNARING THEM ON THE FENCE LINE OR PUT SOME POLES UP IN THE TREES WITH HOOP SNARES ON. I WILL JUST POINT OUT HERE THAT I HAVE NOT YET TRYED THIS METHOD BUT. bullsmilk i dont think you realise just how small the moles tunnel is . there not much bigger than a mouse hole. also there is a not much oxygen down there. bit of yousless info for those that are intrested in moles. did you know they have twice as much blood in there bodies as similar sized mammels. the reason is to carry the very little oxygen they get around there bodies

think your getting your pounds and kilo's mixed up tone dog, red stags in the uk are not usualy more than 20 stone = 280 lbs so between 200 and 300 lbs is more like it
