the long running documentry on the tv called " the world at war". a truly excellent documentry, its probly on dvd now. and im sure there was a book. great letter simmo , had me gripped reading it . my grandad was also involved . in tanks, europe south africa and burma . i loved to hear about it but he would rarely talk about it. loved the bit in his letter, about the female officer, he called her awsome , do you think it had the same meaning as now. all the best TOMO

VERY GOOD MATE. now i aint a huge fan of the warrener, but in his latest film mooching days. he places a large cage trap on a run on top of those walls cum hedges they have down in the west country. this trap has doors both sides so the rabbits run a long the run and straight in. i must stress hear that they are ferreting. and possibly the rabbits are going in cos there under pressure. but still its good to see things you havent seen befor. on the lurcher section . agree with macam the minshaw thread. also like the coursing threads, especialy talk about all the old lines. also marks threads are good for a laff. and most recent the norfolk thread. theres also loads of great stuff on the trapping section. theres hundreds of years experiance on that section .

there are very few jobs that CANT be ferreted, glamour. provided you can leave it till winter when the cover is down . just use lots of purse netts, long netts, plenty of ferrets and a couple of good trustworthy chaps to help. start one end , and work along.

i have recently been aproched about rabbit skins, but in winter, between 60p and £1 each , its somthing i will be looking in to in more detail after september. only problem is the skins need to be in one piece, where as i skin in two halves, but if they do fetch as much as a £1 i will change my ways
