EXACTLY the point gareth, we should ALL stick together, but i dont see the vast majority of fishermen doing that. i would jus like to point out , that i used to fish, and even from time to time now, i will go for a few trout in the summer. The problem is that fishermen don't stick together with other fishermen, dog men with other dog men, etc, let alone all stick together as one organisation. who proved fish cant feel pian??????? so is the blood they spill , not real blood?? look i hate all these feckers attacking our sports, but im not nieve to think that fish feel nothing. in fact if you think about it fishermen are the worst , dragging an animal out the water keeping it in a net , then realeasing it a few hours later, at least we kill our game nice and quik with minimum fuss

scoty, let me tel you , bamba had a pit x grey , genuim first cross, this bitch would never stop running, we were getting big bags with this bitch 20 year ago and is to this day still the most prolific rabbit catcher for pure staminar i have seen when it was 11 and half it still cought 38 rabbits one night , after he had been working away for months and it was unfit.

spoke to ldr at lunchtime, the heat should have been ran last weekend the 6th of march, at miks in scotland, torchy droped out a few days earlier, (other commitments) . ldr is working nights at the weekends in a syciatric hospital and had already booked the nigh off. torchy allso works away in the week so weekdays are hard for him. ldr cant get this weekend off, or next weekend, however he can get the weekend after that wich will be fri 26th, sat 27th. he said to me on the phone he is getting in contact with torchy to see if this is suitable. a bit of an update there

look whin im self employed, i work fri , sat , sun , night , 12 hours. i dont do a shift i dont get paid. i said if they ran in the week i would NOT need re-embersing. but things are tight and a lost shift for holding a comp i aint going to do and if they covered my diesel and a meal that would be a hundred anyway , £50 for me to get to the dales. any way the theres about a grand between them , what's a tone by they if some one else wants to judge, on my land that fine , as i know ldr, and evryone wants an imparshal judge. i would just be a GUIDE YOU KNOW W

right ok gents, for ldr and torchy, if you want to run my ground in the dales, the ofer stands. now i work weekend nights, but i can get a night off unpaid,.................soooo, if you renburse my loss of ernings, out of the winers money job done its also going to be 25 mph winds sat night and sunday night up there. alternativly you could do it mid week , and of course you wont have to renburse me if you two take up my offer let me know asap

if you mean new pups , like a few weeks old , then personly i would have the lamp on. a 6 month old pup may be ok, personly i have the heat lamp on all the time at night even for my adults

dead right mate, look at the thread i started called "bad show" within this section its funny how evrybody on these sites makes out they lamp 3 or 4 nights a week yet cant get together for 3 hours even in late autumn when is dark at 6 pm. MOO ide love a days stalking

I think people theorise to much on what dogs are capable of. there are times in hunting when evrything falls in to place, and of course luck. that being said a good dogman/hunter can make his own luck , knowing the land , fieldcraft , going to certain spots when the conditions are right for that place. theres always talk on these sies about big bags , and people saying its not possible, but yet people have done it

as far as im awear Splodge only mated fettle once , and that was while chris had her. this litter was born in oct 07. there were 4 pups from that litter C.MOYES had one the other chris kept one , a lad in durham had one , and i had the other none of them were black and white. of course it could have been another mating, but like leeview said , splodge has been dead a good while now

i like getting big bags and realy testing the dogs, its nice enough going local for an hour getting a dozen or so , but give me those blustery nights up the dales, and lets see what the dogs can do. one problem with big bags , carrying the feckers, bet you all thought ide put that other pic up -
YEP seen them swim a few times to get away from dogs, and on the lamp as well, also hares a few years ago when it was legal to course them
