    Thanks Torquemada I had read enough to understand over 3 years was a no no. What do you mean you are done if it's 'pervious' by which I guess you mean previous? I seem to see people say time since the offense is a big factor - we are talking 10 years ago now Also do you reckon they take into consideration if you were a SGC and FAC holder before the conviction without any problems?

    Hi All, Anyone know of people who have been granted a shotgun certificate when they have a past criminal record? Does anyone have any tips on how best to prepare for an application under such circumstances, e.g certain documents or proof of improved character or getting a lawyer involved? Examples of excuses for refusal or examples of things the police have asked for in order to grant such applications would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure this has been asked before but Id like to see recent examples as the way the police are with such matters is changing rapidly due to the Eu

    Totally agree ,I've done 3 years in Thailand so far and it sounds great but trust me it takes its toll, it's particularly bad if you enjoy being out in the countryside and hunting because you can get that here. If it's short term just to see the place and shag everything that moves then go for it but don't bother long term ATB

    Hi All, I have been trying to contact someone within Sinnington and Middleton hunts with no luck. All I want to know is their meet dates and locations between the 19th Dec and the 2 Jan as I'm on holiday in the area and my son and I want to follow on foot. Can anyone help me with this info?     Hi All, No this is not a post about Greengrass's dog...its just every time Heartbeat's theme tune comes on the TV my BullX start howling like a wolf!! She's like a dog possessed....I mean I think its a crap TV show as well but I don't go shouting about it! Its only this song that makes her do it....does anyone else's dog do this when they hear specific types of music etc.???!!

    I had these symptoms and went to the doctor and found I was pre-diabetic which basically means you have high risk of developing full diabetes unless you make some lifestyle changes such as losing some weight, exercising more and eating less carbohydrates. I have since brought my blood sugar back to normal levels. Get checked ASAP because if you catch it quick you can slow down or even reverse the road to full diabetes

    Dear All, I'm sure most of you received the email from Barney White-Spunner from the CA in response to the SNP's U-Turn. I'm not currently a member of the CA and to be honest I was a bit disappointed that the CAs campaign seems to be concentrated just on Fox-Hunting with a pack of hounds. Anyway I thought I'd email my thoughts to Tim Bonner at the CA and here is the response I got for those of you who are interested.     Just got an email from CA asking to re-lobby to ensure the vote is a yes for the proposals and that they support the move saying basically it's good enough!?!!

    The way I read it is that it is just allowing more than two dogs to flush the fox to a waiting gun etc. this won't help Lurchermen at all
