  1. Thanks for all your PM's I ended up ordering the one on EBay, look forward to reading it.
  2. Hi All, I've just missed out on grabbing myself a copy of this on Ebay so thought I'd try my luck to see if anyone on THL has a copy for sale at present or would be willing to sell a copy? Drop me a PM me if you do. Thanks!
  3. Hi All I know it's a long shot considering the time of year but does anyone have any kits ready for January time or alternatively does anyone have a young ferret born this year that they want to sell? Thanks
  4. Just wish I could! Good luck with getting em homes
  5. Brings back memories of mine, absolute spitting image! All the best
  6. Be great if they over turned the law though wouldn't it, as long as they didn't make it prohibitively difficult for the normal people to own breeds such as APBT etc. What do you think about a law which would require a licence to own a so called 'dangerous' breeds?
  7. This was on Sky News: "Dogs are being put down based on how they look rather than the danger they pose, according to an animal charity. The Dangerous Dogs Act turned 25 years old last month but the RSPCA said it had been the reason for the unnecessary deaths of hundreds of dogs. In a report, Breed Specific Legislation: A Dog's Dinner, the RSPCA says it has been forced to put 366 dogs down in the past two years alone, under the section of the act that relates to breed-specific offences. Breeds such as the pit bull terrier, Japanese tosa, Dogo Argentino and Fila Brazileiro are am
  8. Anybody going to this then ? Is it any good?
  9. Apologies for too late reply. There was quite a good lurcher show there, I entered my old bull x bitch into one class, didn't get a prize like (judge was obviously blind haha!) but it was a good day out and lots of good people and nice dogs. Another brilliant thing was that unlike other shows, the food wasn't a rip off, it's was proper homemade cakes and sandwiches for a quid a pop for most things. Definitely on the list for next year!
  10. Near Lockton, on the top of the Hole Of Horcum on the way from Pickering to Whitby
  11. Hi All, Anyone have any idea on the current processing time for a SGC grant from North Yorkshire Police? How long after them receiving your application form do they usually arrange to visit your premises? Thanks!
  12. I have considered it yes, in fact I considered the 320D touring, the Audi A4 Avant and the Skoda Octavia Estate originally and they just haven't got quite enough space. I have a growing family or kids and dogs to cope with over the next couple of years and all of those cars felt too small. My concept here is buying the motor and keeping it for 5 years....by my reckoning the BMW will keep more value over the Skoda over that time, then again on the flip side the additional service and fuel costs for the BMW vs the Skoda could outweigh the benefits! Argggh!!! I hate thinking practically,
  13. Sound advice thanks. What about depreciation though? I see that the Skoda loses value a lot faster than the BMW, especially the touring version which holds value a lot better than the saloons. And what if I came down to the 520d would that even it out a little? People say the 520d is a little weak? Haha you can see I am desperately trying to find an excuse to buy the BMW!

  15. Hi All, Anybody ever owned or currently owns either of these cars? I'm looking at 2012-2014 models of both and wondered if anyone had any experiences to share? The Mr. Practical in me is pulling me towards the Skoda as you can get a lower mileage vehicle for my budget and it has good reviews but the Mr. Daft in me just loves the BMW and the 530d or even the 535d is supposed to be a lot fun to drive. Cheers!
  16. Absolutely stunning country , I'm planning a move to Scotland soon, wish the weather was like that all the time like!
  17. Totally agree on not allowing them to graze, this never brings results IMO
