Hi lads...
got a few days off work so thinking of going for a day on the clays at Doveridge....
I aint been before, but i have heard its very good....does anybody on here shoot there...?and is
it as good as i have heard...?
Know what your saying....but im not in it to necessarily win stuff...i have never...never.... made a profit from attending a show...but the average attendance for shows this year is 30% down on last year..!!!! I attend the shows to support a dwindling hobby...
Pity that you left birds.
I know some of you lads like a mule...
so i thought I'd share a photo with you of a bird i have just got...
Firstly i want to stress i did not breed this bird, i have brought it in to be
part of my team of birds that i show....and apart from that i just like it...
Oh by the way.....its a linnet mule.
Cherrs Fozzy
We ended up with 17...but the majority were feral pigeons..still good sport, and good training for me and my lad...
Thanks to those who made an effort to help...
What, more specific than South Yorkshire.. and willing to travel 1.5hr in any direction.....?
SO...Lincolnshire, Lancashire, Derbyshire, Humberside, North Yorkshire.. now i am capable of googling that info....but i was looking for recommendations
depends on the ground, ours is pretty laid back, and a few of us use auto's, just load 2 carts in, instead of 3
but posher clubs might frown on it, try asking first
Cheers pal
