  1. So this company your mate works for....they only make items in xxl do they..? Just say it pal...their moody, you'll sell just as many.
  2. Pup now sold being picked up in the morning...
  3. Thanks lads, if im honest i wish i hadn't tried to keep both of them, im getting soft in my old age and have become attached to them...its not easy selling one now.
  4. I thought i could keep 2 pups back and bring them up in the house with the mum but i have to admit i cant... 3 terriers in the house are doing my head in so i am having to sell 1 of them...she is house trained, obedient, terrific recall, she is starting to work cover and has been introduced to ferrets... The sire is used for digging but the mum has not...she is used for Rabbiting, squirreling, and flushing birds for me to shoot...and she is excellent at it..(she was bred by Steve Parkin). She is legally docked and dew clawed and is fully inoculated She is for sale at £250 and no offers
  5. Booked a day myself in about 12 days time....i used to live for running hare's but dont do it any longer as much as i'd love to, just cant afford to take the risk...i've shot a few hare's but never been on a specific hare shoot...cant wait, and wont loose a wink of sleep...im talking number 4's with me if thats any help.
  6. Nice pup pal...but...the studded collar..?...whats that all about...lol
  7. This is my beast...been out on her today...Sherwood Pines...Red route.....struggled a bit today
  8. The bitch to the pups is mine and was bred by Steve Parkin, the sire to the pups is owned by a lad from near Selby...i have seen photo's of Mousley Russell's and i can see where your both coming from...very similar type.
  9. There were 3 bitches in the litter...all of them were very similar..
  10. Just thought i'd share a picture with you to show how they have come on...they are nearly 20 week old now. If im honest im finding it hard work as they are in the house with their mum and even though they are very intelligent ( well for terriers) they are pups and therefore a bloody hand full... i have a mate who is pestering to buy one from me, and i think he may win me over if he catches me on a bad day.
  11. I have a little field on a terrific flight line that give me some great shots...i usually go there for the last hour and always get a chance at a few. Anyway i have a few decoys that i stash in the hedge bottom and every now and again they might just slow the odd one down to give me a easier shot... i only place them 10 meters or so from the tree i sit under....last night, as i stood tucked into the tree trunk a Buzzard dropped onto the nearest shell to me thinking it was a free meal, i never saw the bird approach it just appeared from nowhere. It really was a terrific moment...it didn't hang
  12. Bloody hell...would have bought that and paid you double....lovely looking dog..
  13. from the photo where they are all stuck in the wood...which one's have you got left.
  14. Must have seen a couple of thousand easy during yesterday....problem was they were all flying high above the rape field i was on...
  15. This cage cost me over £100 quid not so long ago no for sale at £50, can be picked up from Barnsley...A this years silver jill comes with it.
  16. About 50 on one of my fields this morning, i was only out spotting really but had the gun with me, had a speculative shot and the lot disappeared over the horizon and did not return....pretty much standard behaviour i think for pigeons on rape this time of year.
  17. Just 8 week old, and no bull in them, but the stud dog is a very strong dog.
  18. it was a toss up between spot and patch we've gone for patch glad you all like em...thanks for your comments
  19. The first plan was to keep just 1 bitch....but well...you know how it is...looks like their both staying now...lol
  20. Like the idea of drilling the holes for the crush bars...might have a go at that next time
  21. This one's mine pal, just made it....just need wood, screws, jigsaw, and a hour of your time... one tip that i would pass on is to use the clips that you use to hold electric cable to the wall to hold your anti crush bars in place, just get the biggest you can find...i think you'll be able to see from the photo what i mean...
  22. Tried them and they do it...but only if you get them chipped as well...£52 per pup....
