Is it not true with this type of breeding, the experts say, you inherit a lot of the good points, but also more of the bad, compared to the usual non related mating.

I thought the mark3m always made stupid noises.

Kennel Cough Vaccine
Country Joe replied to Country Joe's topic in Working Dog Health & Training Talk
She speaks a lot of sense, ive had running dogs 45 years, and none of my dogs had kennel cough, ive never seen a dog with it. As she says, if your dog did contact it in the kennels, they would just say it was not from them, all dogs coming in are vaccinated, and like the lady says the vaccine does not work. I was told you could buy a whole bottle of the vaccine for a fiver, so the £21 is more or less for a small round sticker that the vet puts on your vaccination booklet and signs it. It would never happen, but if everone refused, the boarding kennels would soon change their minds. -
A good morning, dog marking well, and well pleased with a sandy Jill I acquired last August, I took a chance with her, normally I would not have taken her, but she caught my eye, as her dam never worked. She is bred from a long line of workers, but her dam has never worked, but had bred a litter previous, and the ones that went to workers did well, with some of the Lads returning for this litter. She has only been out a handful of times, and has bolted 8 Rabbits, she has never had a lie up, it would be interesting to see if she will stick with the Rabbit, should be a good wee ferret next Se

Because the amount of equipment one takes, even if just using purse nets and your spade, the last thing you want on your back are two Hobs, Jills are a lot lighter and faster, and don't get stuck in the nets as often.

Will Keeping A Dog Indoors Effect Its Working Ability??
Country Joe replied to rhysy28's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
You have already answered your question, makes no difference. -
This fault with the mark3m appears has been mentioned on here a few times.

I would have thought it could have been caught by now, after all its a Dog, not a Mountain Gorilla. isn't there any dog charity near by that would loan you a trapping crate.

I would say the dog needs a complete check over from a good Vet, that would be my first port of call, and I would not run him, till you find the cause.

If Ozzy formula contains Createne, this is a controversial subject in dog feeding. There is an ongoing debate amongst health experts on the question, "Is creatine safe?" This debate is tied in with the use of steroids and other muscle and size enhancing drugs. Creatine is different from these other drugs because of its origins; it is a natural amino acid that is built up in the body through normal processes. It is also built up in your dog's body. However, there is little reason to use creatine for your dog. While studies are still inconclusive as to whether or not creatine is safe for your

I think you would find all meats in complete are beaks feet etc, when they say contains chicken they never say what part, even Gain who a lot rave about on here i asked what part of the bird goes into their feed, that was 10 months ago, im still waiting for an answer. others will say we only use meat used for human comsumption, but again not the part, ive yet to see a bag of complete that says chicken breast, or legs.

If Anyone Remember My Pup Who Lost Her Eye At 12 Weeks Old
Country Joe replied to McKay's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Good to see you sticking with the dog, i bet its glad its got you as an owner, I bet it will do you proud, and you dont need two eyes to be a good marker at the ferreting. -
Wouldnt be worth it, the most you would usually pay out, would be a vasectomy, and most Insurance Companies carry a £70 excess, they do on Dogs, dont know if Ferrets are the same.

Do Lawsons deliver too South West Scotland?

Well I'm not saying it happened or didn't, the garden was owned by a Doctor I knew, the RSPCA handed the Dam and Pups to the local dog rescue kennels, the Doctor told me he contacted them, and went to see the dogs, and later he was contacted by the rescue centre that all had been re homed. Wether you believe it, is up to you. I only printed what I had been told.

Any fresh news on the Dog? there was a Lurcher in my town that dug a hole at the bottom of a fir tree in a large garden, and had a litter of pups, the owner of the property could not go near, it would run at you growling, and would bite. The RSPCA came with drugged meat and got her and the pups, the property owner told me a few months later, that all the pups plus the dam were re homed.

A lot of good info, as said bin the tin, and mix some raw with your complete, for meat there will be various places where you can source it from, if you have only one dog, you can try the supermarkets the place where they sell cheaper. When my Whippet had the scoots the vet gave him a course of antibiotics, and told me to feed cooked chicken and rice for a week, and this worked. Regarding being picky, never seen a dog that would turn down cooked chicken, another cheap source is Iceland or Farmfoods, or you could have a look at DAF but they have a minimum order of £30 so you would need a free

I sometimes give them a trim, I just put a spot of Ferettone on their stomach and they get really occupied licking it, I then trim the nails with the Dog clippers no problem, same as dogs, just clip the tips, don't be severe.

Protein. Lamb 13.5 Chicken 14.9 Beef 15.6 Tripe 12.2 If you plan to use a complete with any of the above im sure a 20% protein would be okay, but then im not an Animal nutritionist.

Where can I get that CSJ from pal? Its been getting decent reviews they have a few different types, just google CSJ dog foods you can request a trial sample, They dont spend a lot of money on adverts and use agents, if you put in your postcode the nearest agent with contact number will come up.

Tripe has less protein than Beef, Lamb, or Chicken, ive seen that Wag in Pets at home, its been on offer for months, im trying CSJ dog foods for the first time as a mixer with raw, looks okay, stools have been firm and £13 a bag. That Wag may be okay as a mixer, but I wouldn't use it myself.
