Fancy tring out making a stick and a catapult with antler handles. So anyone got any antlers, think roe would be ideal. Imnotafter a full mounted up skull and antlers, just the antler. Anyone do any of you do this? I dont have a clue how to do it lol, I assume you use a metal dowel into the stick and antler? I will work it out...... H&J

Its funny/odd/scary, how in america you can rent a high powered handgun/machine gun for $10 (£4.90) and if you were in possesion with one of those in the UK, you wouldnt see the light of day again!! Probably the 2 most powerfull countrys in the world and we could be more diferent if we tried!

I read somewhere that you shouldnt use WD40 on guns? Might just be the spring? I honestly cant remember why, maybe someone can put me right or wrong?

Personally I would only buy boots of well known boot makers. Scarpa, Lowa, Hanwag, Meindl etc (all german? ) as at the end of the day they will have far more experiance of boots than le chameau. You will get a better boot at a cheaper price. Hiking is a much bigger industry than hunting, so it makes sense to buy from reputable walking/hiking boot makes whos whole line is in walking boots. Not sure if that makes sense lol. JMO. H&J

Thought I would put a few pics up of my (very) non ped bedlington. Were not sure of her breeding 100%, but aparently there is some bull and whippet in her somewhere back. "17 tts. Coming on well, recall could be slightly better but almost 100% Hopefully she will be a good ferreting dog, not quick enough to consistantly catch bolters but should be handy enough to have around. Would love to try her at rats but not really sure hwo to go about it, dont know anyone who go's. Shes 12-13 months old now so first season ahead. Not a working bedlington as in earth dog, doubt she would fi

Errrmm no lol...... Although I once brung one of my ferrets night fishing (with the box for it to sleep in) but me and my mate were sitting out talking. My mate had the ferret asleep in his jacket pocket at the time and it done a huge sloppy shit in his pocket, I have honestly never laughed so much in my life My ribs were in pain! Its was also in mid winter and he only had one jacket with him rofl: What a weekend that was, im sitting here laughing at it now

Opinels are complete and utter tosh compared to Frosts knives Same price, Much higher quality. I bought one at the sussex game fair this year, still as sharp as when I got it cuts hairs of my arm with ease . Amazing how they make them for that sort of price, suppose they get the chinkys onto it lol? There never going to look as nice as £300 damascus but I would only lose it Frosts of mora for me, doubt I will use another knife

Gloves dont work This one was odd, when I brung him home he was as gentle as a kitten, bounding around doing the war dance etc was fine for 2 days when he bit me, sounds stupid but its almost like he got a taste for human blood Was a diferent ferret after that. Gave it 2 weeks with NO changes so I put him to sleep. I still have his sister who is the friendliest ferret anyone could wish for. I dont have a clue what happend He was being fed raw too. PS, That cage thing in background isnt a ferret cage. Found it in a skip and for some reason thought it would be handy for something
