try doing rabbit in a slow cooker first with a chicken oxo and a chopped clove of garlic, remove meat when tender. then aadd as many veg as you can. -

I drilled holes in front, looped some 15lb fishing line on elastic, thread line through holes and stretch elastic to pull it holes, then tied of with some braid.
