  1. If it's a break-barrel, check condition of breech seal 'O'-ring for wear. If it's an underlever, check the breech seal codition at end of barrel situated in breech (you may need to remove the barrel in order to gain access to this. Do you have access to a chronograph and a set of accurate scales. If so, you can at least check the pellets for weight consistency and then see if the muzzle energy measured with say ten of these varies considerably.   2. Hi, I have a HW100T and was given a 232Bar diver's bottle as a present. Greatful as I am I have since realised you'd be better off with having a 300Bar bottle and fittings because the 232Bar bottle may not always guarantee a full fill of 200Bar. This is all down to where the bottle (and rifle) are stored. Temperature plays a part here, as I found out the hard way.   3. Hi, yes you can buy replacement pressure guages though not sure how much. Usually they are a 1/8th BSP thread. Try looking in an RS catalogue for some prices, then find a suitable engineering supplier near to you and get them to quote one for you. Hope this helps !
  4. Hi, I don't know if you've seen them, but the COMETA 300 is a good quality air rifle. I think they sell new, about £140 upwards. They are full legal limit 12ft lbs and very accurate. Build quality is excellent and a full stripdown and rebuild, should you need to carry this out (maintenance etc) is very straight forward with basic simple tools. I have had mine for 5 years now and although I have a small selection of different air rifles, I have become quite attached to this one....couldn't recommend it more.
