  1. My mate got a call from the farmer local to us saying he had lost a few lambs to fox(es) & would we come & have a walk about. The first night proved fruitless with only a glimpse of one way off on the railway bank that borders the land but last night saw a much better result. No more than thirty seconds walk out of the yard & one was spotted sitting out amongst the ewes & their lambs, game over for a dog fox. After a scan of a few other fields a pair of eyes were spotted in the tree line of the first field, we made our way down the hill but it would not budge from the cover.
  2. Make sure you don't use the flash or you might find yourself getting a clump
  3. The slow old plodders always last the longest
  4. Maybe the farmer wants more dead & that is the reason they were given permission?
  5. Around where you live they might, if you are including the UK that is a ridiculous statement to make.
  6. I understand that but just wondered if there was any difference in price between the two versions published in 84 & whether the amendments were of any significance.
  7. Was there much difference in price between the first print in 1984 & the Reprinted with amendments 1984?I've got a Second Edition & that is from 1990

Yes they can & the b*****ds delete them if they 'violate terms of use' or however they put it. I've even had them delete a scan of a book cover because it had a rifle & dead boar on the cover, shot foxes obviously go the same way as well

  17. He did that on more than one occasion as well but what a freak of a dog when he did make the effort.

  20. That explains it then even more so if it was a non ped, its still a very fast time. A few years ago i was training dogs that could win Opens on the London tracks & at one of them the track records were 3.62 over 52m & 13.65 over 222m. Was the 17 stone farmer riding the quad then?
