You beat me to it, Port Lymne Zoo is an excellent day out. It finds some folk out walking up & down the slopes though -
I went a few years ago & found it a good day out. Less hectic than a country show type event & had some good displays/stalls. Be warned though, if a woman is on the mic. for the lurcher display stand well back as she screeches into it at about 100 decibels It does say only dogs entered in the show are permitted. http://www.eastofengland.org.uk/hunting.html

Theres a fella in Surrey or Sussex can't remember which that keeps a small pack. He was featured on one of the countryside programmes a couple of years ago using a couple to flush foxes to the gun & often parades them at the Edenbridge & Oxted Show.

Nevermind maybe next year. Going back a few years it used to be a cracking show especially for a Hunt one with the scurry, speed jump, obedience & racing in the next field after the showing had finished.
