  1. For f..k sake, Micky ! ,.... Happy New year ! ,.....lol (its alright we are all allowed a 'moan' noo & again ?) ha ha
  2. Definitely the right way to approach it, i would say,.. the way things are going ?
  3. I like your optimism here,....(& hope your right !)
  4. Aye, its worrying Micky, to say the least,...
  5. Cheers mate, i feared you were gonna say something like that ! ha ha ( i tried the odd example of these before, over different periods, & never found them 'fit for purpose' straight from the box, either ?)
  6. Just out of interest , Moxy, its claimed they are made to be set, straight from the box (no tweaks required ?),....would you say that's the case ?
  7. Aye, hes not gonna need them over there, Phil ? lol
  8. British made,..still the best, Moxy ? (or are those Chinese 'pest stop' ones, giving them a run for their money, nowadays ? lol)
  9. Genuinely, no disrespect to you , ....but your trap/s ?? needs adjustment here,.........(for humaneness reasons),.... no fuss but, cause most (if not all ?) of us have experienced it with mole traps, at one time or another ?
  10. A few good 'posters' who used to be on here, on there now ? (sadly, i think also the odd person gets fed up & think they are too good, to participate on THL forum, anymore ?) i had a look in, on these 'groups', said hello to one or two, but had no intention of hanging around ?
  11. Aye, not bad at all , Flatpack, half barrels,...
  12. I think 'Facebook groups' with similar interests, lure a number of folk away from here also, Micky ? (some s...e expressed, by some on the 'mole catching' ones, for sure,......& it seemed it was a competition sometimes, with repetitive photos of who caught the most, etc )
  13. I tend to agree, mate,.....unless i was offered or could negotiate, some 'funny money' ? (for the inconvenience, possibly ?)
  14. Hope your on a proper 'price' for this one ,.....for all that trouble ?
  15. Good photos, mate. (wish it was as dry as that, where i am ,...lol)
  16. It is not so big Eddie, it is a Bitch and i have trapped ferrets twice that size , i think she fired the other traps, the plates on a Juby have a long way to go before the springs are engaged and that split second is all it would have took for her to stop. Well, catching a 'true' native wild polecat, would have really bothered me, personally.......but what can you do, you cant avoid it completely, when conducting this type of trapping ??
  17. I take it you wont be dismayed about this 'non target' ,.....cause its also on your 'hit' list ? (might possibly, have been helping you with the 'tree rats', though ?)
  18. I never use markers where members of the public have access to the land. Indentations on mole hills, strands of wool, white spray paint; anything that'll point me to the spot but won't catch the eye of a footpather. Thats sensible, enough..but i personally never use any type, of evident marker,...Thats ok till you end up with a field full of mole hills, then the old timers desease kicks in, but if there’s only a couple of lines of hills then no issues, easy to relocate them, Yes, i get you mate, if youve alot of 'good' ground, & are having to set a high volume of traps , especially ?
