I actually wish i was more educated on the matters presented in the film, then i could perhaps be absolutely (100%) certain, where i stood exactly. ,.....but it was convincing ? It goes into alot of detail on the moles anatomy, etc , with a plus size model of a moles skeleton, to help demonstrate. Alot about types of trap strikes, by the different traps, & possible causes of death, this would bring about ? talk about force required in a spring, etc, best place for a mole to be struck with the correct force, so it can expire with the least amount of suffering, etc, Alot of medical terms us

Its a pity , mate. Try your best to source a copy, cause as far as i know Natural England , Mammal Society, Countryfile, DEFRA, & loads more bodies, have been sent it ? (even the wildlife trusts,....i would contact any of the them & express your interest as a mole contoller, see if they would oblige you ?)

You know, that's very good of you to offer, and thanks,... but im stuck in my ways now & the future for me commercial mole trapping is very uncertain, cause my circumstances have changed recently. Also the volume of mole work here, isn't quite what it used to be, so any money (to be made) isn't as easy got now, & i can see it probably going downhill for me , as i go on for a while longer. Iol. I can tell this as well cause I seem to be happy setting this modern version of the old wooden barrel trap, (for enjoyment) which takes me a fair bit longer to set than a Duffus, etc (& ive

Incidentally, "they are efficient and humane killing tool straight out of the box" ? ,....I thought i learned that you secure the trigger somehow, as far as the distance where you place it between the prongs, is concerned, to help ensure a suitable catch ,.........would that be right ?

Please feel free to differ, fella ? that's what the forums for ? I don't claim to be any expert , & can admit , if I get things wrong. My ego isn't that big you see. I'm satisfied with what IM doing, and that's it, & i don't currently need no putange ! (I've said before that wee french trap looks as though it packs a punch , for what it is ? but I'm guessing , & you will know better than me if you use them ?)

I have actually only heard the guys name mentioned recently, & have had no communication with him whatsoever ?,.....& its the short film i viewed recently, that cast doubt, (or at least made me unsure, about ALL current mole trap models, actual abilities to effect a swift kill ? & yes at this stage, I could still possibly be wrong regarding that assumption.),.......also "its your ignorance about how the traps work that bother me" ?,.....well , this is exactly what was explored in the video. I managed to hear a condensed bit of that Jeremy Vine show, afterwards. I was also told (on good authority) that our current chief celebrity mole catcher, was basically torn apart by a caller in ? (real poor response, overall,......done us no favours i heard ?) I read a couple of articles in that 'Pest Magazine' a while ago, by some other 'expert' of 40 yrs who suddenly appeared ? ,......picked holes all over it ...., to be honest.
