  1. are you for fecking real mate, the lad trying to give advise and telling them how not to ruin there kits before they even open eyes. this is what the site is for yer ???? That's not giving advice that's telling people that do it different to him there doing it wrong and he's doing it right. There's a difference. A couple of points regarding the advice as you call it, one, the hutch, nest box bedding etc should, if you have daily contact with your ferrets carry traces of your smell, why would that bother your ferret if it's used to it. Two, the likelihood of disease, where from?
  2. to be honest chap, each to their own, over the years i've always looked in on the kits, i've handled them and also helped out once with a kit that got stuck on the way out, lucky to be there that time. I have never had kits killed or abandoned after i've touched them, and my jills have usually been present at the time and don't seem unduly stressed. i know what your saying does happen, but there are often exceptions to the rule matey. All the best buddy, LD13
  3. they must have an irrigation system and a half for that matey
  4. Maybe cos' rabbits eat everything but the nettles, thus leaving them to grow in great numbers,
  5. the thing that prompted my post was that after informing me that your step dad was anti rabbiting, you then tell me you will bring your nan out , then you tell me to leave it but could i tell you where my land is so you could go without me. Really??? why ask complete strangers to take you out hunting, then say "i would of come with you but i cant just trust a random person form the internet like that i need to know you". Just do yourself a favour and do some proper research, books videos etc on your chosen subject. don't just play at it because it's the animals that will suffer. I'll not
  6. Stunning pup mate Good job you're not one of the ' i'd of had him if you were closer' etc brigade, or you'd have missed out on what looks to be a real cracker. Well done LD 13
  7. P.S Need somone to tag along with ferreting to learn a thing or to in medway. I feel sorry for your ferret fella, but you asked all through the last season, a few of us Kent lads offered but all we got was wasted time. Hope the ferret gets to the vets asap.

  12. i have a sandy hob here who has seen a bit of work, but i think he'd be more suited as a companion ferret  Well handled, he's bolted a few and never been dug down to. Reason being Cutting down the number of my hobs Pm me if you are interested.

  14. Very true there matey mine get hyper as hell then i go up to the run with the ferret box and when i pick them up to collar them, they go limp as you like, dead easy to collar them then

  16. I have a very small adult poley jill who is so intensly violent i've had to house her separately to my others. the is food and bed possessive with my other jills, and if my older ones go near her, she bites them so hard she punctures them on the first bite. it's more than just a dominance thing, as my other jills are really submissive to other ferrets, but the aggression doesn't stop. the poley is well handled, but will not tolerate female company i have no doubt after observing her, that she would of killed one of my others had i not separated them

    loans

somebodys told me about them i've applied just waiting on them now. have you had dealings with these before? really bad people to deal with, massive interest rates. you pay back weekly, they call at your house for the payments. if you got the loan today, your first payment would be next week. It shouldn't be an option if you can avoid it mate.
