Well wishes for your dad,he sounds like a fighter so hope he has a speedy recovery.Theres nothing anyone can say to help ease the worry and the pain you must be feeling,thoughts are with you through such a crappy time.

Its just so creepy to think that they obviously plan these things especialy when you think your in a lovely quiet and safe area.Really ruins your trust in people too.Im told we were so lucky to get them back and if the were bitches we never would have had the returned.

Thanks everyone,its all bizzarre how i joined this forum and found someone on here who I swear was the key to helping me on this as he was from near my area the chances of that are so low.Id love to know what they want working dogs for stud I was thinking as they only took the dogs and left the bitches.

Well we got a call from the farmer today round 5pm saying he had a number given to him and it was from a man who thinks he had our dog. My dad rang it and the man said he had baught it off irish travellers for 150 pounds,he was really apologetic for buying it off a traveller but wanted us to have it back and he arranged for us to pick him up,and we did so hes home so thats both dogs found Rommel the german wire hair pointer and Jigga our cocker spaniel,double celebrations going on here.The man said it was 'irish tinkers'his words that had stolen our dogs for certain so we are upping securit

I would like to think thats not the case,the search continues today.Its harder to forget about it when you know they could be so close by.

Oh have they,well i cant be pointing the finger at the camp I mean it really could be anyone round the area as my dad is a game keeper so he has lots of people come shooting and hawking etc.The story will be in the wrexham leader and oswestry advertiser 2mz so fingers crossed we will have jigga back.Thanks guys for help n info.

No dont think they are going to,because if the camp did have the gwp to then the police would have seen that on cctv and let us know,so i wounder if they are doing anything at all.Just constantly ringing round the wardens I mean its a big positive getting my dads dog back but my brother is left with out his cocker now and i feel so bad for him,so im making it my mission to find him asap.

He was found roaming apparently,in the new braughton/south sea area on the hills im sure they said?

The police came to the house when we first reported the dogs stolen and they said they wouldnt basicaly go on camp but would check cctv,weve heard nothing back so not sure what good that would do,so annoying that our cocker could be in there we just want to rule evrything out.Thanks for reply all welcome.

He was Roaming in the new broughton/soth sea area not far from us,it is very odd.But thats all the information we were given no one knows who called them etc ,its so odd.Dog lost have been informed with piks just going to print the posters and put them up.Hopefully this news paper article may help too.Thankyou for your reply oh and apparently he was taken in the day he was reported missing?so maybe he has escaped from who ever took him>?,

Hi just to update,Rommel the gwp has been found he is now home with my dad where he should be!He was bite marks to his face so he looks like he may have been used to fight,not that he would fight back as hes a huge softy.Still no Jigga though,Rommel was found wondering the streets not too far from our area its very near the gypsy camp,was it them,could jigga still be there who knows?The news paper is comming up to run the story in the local paper.Thank you for all your messages of support and if you do hear or see anything involving my cocker spaniel please do let me know.

We have our German wire hair pointer back he was found near ish to our area in a place near where the gypsy camp is.?Was it them?,he has a few marks on his face and back leg like hes been fighting?,not that he would have fought back as hes the biggest softy.He was with the dog warden after he was found roming the area.......apparently.Thats all the information we could get and were given so where is our cocker?What to do next?The reward is still out for our cocker so fingers crossed.please help keep an eye out and if any one knows anything just let me know through this site.Thanks guys.I have
