    my bullcross ran into something whilst lamping last sunday. he had a bump on his chest as he seemed fine i ran him on then i noticed it gettin bigger so called it a night. got home put some muscle embriation on it. in the mornin it was still quite swollen but noticed alot of bruiseing round his chest he was stiff & a bit quite but otherwise ok eating & drinking. weds just gone it was still swollen & by this time i thought it was a hematoma or an infection & decided to prick it with a needle alot of watery blood came out & i was sure that would be the end of it. next day it

    A dog can be ugly BUT it must have confirmation to move effectively "4 good strong legs" dont mean a thing cows have good strong legs but they dont race them do they?     it doesn't just ad speed. greyhounds are very game dogs. also you can loose shape in your line & it can go to mongrelized going back to a pure bred ie grey,sal,deer,whip etc puts back good conformation.

    went to see simon gower today at swindon dog track about my pup. he has fractured the metacarpel bone in his big foot.he had an ray and it confirmed what simon said. big relief!as its lead walks,bone radial & calc d for a month & he should be fine.

    don't no how to upload photo's or i would. taking pup to the vet for a ray tomorow & got him booked in with simon gower on thurs,so will no one way or the other whats wrong. does hip displaysia show up as young as 4 months?

    thanks for your comments. its hard to eplain its like the dogs got 2 different feet. 1 from 1 breed in him the other from another breed. will check for thorns & infection but think its unlikely. the bone from the hock 2 the foot are different sizes in accordance with the feet.

    PUP WAS & STILL IS LIMPING SLIGHTLY. BUT HE'S GOT 2 DIFFERENT TYPE FEET ON HIS BACK FEET, 1 IS BIG & FLAT THE OTHER IS TIGHT SMALL & CAT LIKE. HE'S 16 WKS OLD & DIDN'T HAVE THESE FEET WHEN I GOT HIM. A MATE HAD A LOOK & SAID HE'S NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT & ITS FUNNY HE'S GONE LAME ASWELL. IT ALMOST LOOKS LIKE A DEFORMITY BUT HE WASN'T LIKE THAT 2 WKS AGO. WONDER IF ITS JUST GROWTH AT DIFFERENT RATES. I HAVE FED HIM ALOT OF CALCIUM AS HE'S A BIG PUP BUT WOULD THAT GIVE HIM DIFFERENT TYPES & SIZE FEET?HAS ANYONE COME ACROSS THIS?AS I'M WORRIED IT COULD EFFECT HIS W
