  2. To many people out there breeding for profit.Thats why there's so much c##p about.Years ago lurchers were only bred for work, very few litters about but guaranteed to be worker to worker & would make the grade.Too many dog dealers these days!!!

  6. Sorry lads says mk 3 on the side wheel but is a grey box so think its a mk1.Anyway still for sale not a sratch.
  7. I agree mate. Not talking about jackers tho you always get some dogs that don't make the grade even siblings in the same litter. Some make it some don't. Some breedings can just sometimes be a little to keen? Like i said ave seen them run so know there good.Just like putting an injury prone dog over an injury prone bitch' shorten working life'.All that work put into the breeding & bringing on of the youngster & then they don't make a 3rd season. It was just a thought.
  8. No your asking a bit more from your breeding but do you want that if none of them make there 2nd birthday? Just a thought!! Seen some of the ones that died run & they were good dogs.Good luck with them.
  9. It does feel like hard gristle. I will try massaging it & moving the leg. Its still reddish but no heat?
  10. No led. It is a mk3 & it is 8ft as thats all the wheel goes up to.
  11. It does feel like hard muscley lump. But he seems fine & has done all the way through either than feeling abit sorry for himself & stiff when it first happened. I would take him to the vets but there small animal practices round here & don't know anything about running dogs so a waste of time & money really. Do you know of any greyhound vets in Dorset skycat or anyone? As the greyhound vet that we use to have round here is retiring.
  12. Bruiseing has gone around the chest now.Lump has gone down alot but is hard now like a hard boiled egg under the skin still reddy pink so guess the blood vessel has still got some sort of trauma. Have done what you guys advised me,no pricking it,lead walks only etc. He's not lame or stiff & is bouncing around like usual but the injury is in one of those deep dips in his chest & like i said the lump is much smaller but hard as a stone. Any advice? or is he on his way to a full recovery? Its been just over 3 weeks now does he still need more time? Cheers.
