I am looking to have a variation to my FAC to include a .270. I have had my certificate for a .22lr for 2 years and have fired a good few rounds through it. My dad has a .270 in his cabinet that he is happy to sign over to me. I have been on a number of accompanied deer stalks for both red and roe deer in Scotland, and now have written permission for roe stalking on a Scottish estate. My concern is that i'm going from a .22lr to a .270, having only held my FAC for 2 years.
