Don't know about younger dogs but the vet I go to advises AGAINST giving boosters to older dogs as it can be too much for their system, he's seen a number of oldies sicken (and one greyhound with a weak heart died) after having being given annual boosters. My dads old border collie only ever had the pup vaccines and she lived till she was 18, my terrier has only had the pup course and she's ten in september and still full of life, my lurcher is a year now and he won't be having any boosters either, and my vet never suggests that dogs be given boosters, he's a good old boy and a countryside blo

I'm in mid wales, is that the best thing to do then find someone with a good dog to let him run with?

Hi, I've got a lurcher and permission off my farmer neighbour to use his land, the dog has all his basic obediance and is a good retreiver but I don't know anyone who lamps so am after some advice on how to start him off and what lamp I should get?

Hello I'd just like to say hello, I got a lurcher last July and would like to take him lamping for rabbits, the only rabbiting I've ever done was with my terrier and she taught herself so any tips/advice would be appreciated.
