Guilty as charged! I do have a set on my female Gos and also a braided loop leash now. Fenland George sells them (from another forum)but I got my latest from a girl called zoe in Somerset, her jesses and leashes are exellent. The one thing I would say about the jesses is when new (especially), the button end stands proud of the eylet and looks a bit wierd, but the hawk doesn't mind-so neither do I Jim

So I may have opened a can of worms then Millet? Jim

What's all that about? Are some people ashamed of their interest , or what? Have the courage of your conviction and stop hiding behind your computer! Jim(falconer and doesn't care who knows it)

Hi Tony, I must admit, rabbits are bread and butter on those hills Tony.I stalked a hare which tried to go uphill after 400yds before Maisie whacked it,she went in for a second go but was put off by a kessie stooping hard at her. Sitting tight as the kessie carried on it's attack, a covey of about 20 Englishmen broke directly beneath her! I picked her up and sat down for a breather. After a couple of minutes I got to my feet when a single partridge broke.Gos was off hell for leather after it.The partridge was so hard pressed it was 'piping' in panic. When I got to Gos she was sat atop a sma

Hi Tony, Steve. Here's a couple from the weekend, which i've decided to make my end of season too.Had a cracking slip at an Englishman which she decided to press to cover rather than catch, because of course, they're out of season She weighed way over 2lb 12oz and was slightly naughty but I pressed on till we got a kill, to end on a high and a feed up. Got back home Sunday night, put her out to weather yesterday with a rabbit leg to pull on, then she had a good bath and a nice afternoon in the sun. Cheers, Jim

Going down this coming weekend to have a couple more if the weather behaves itself! Jim

Cheers Millet, she is actually wearing an XLF trans cable tied to her tail mount. I don't have the leg bells on her anymore either.I get by ok with just the tailbell, which gives me a more accurate indication of her true weight. Jim

Here's a couple of pics from earlier in the season. That's a hooge buck rabbit in cracking condition I must say.Looking back, they were all nice clean rabbits at that time of the season, whereas I do find the odd wet straggly looking thing from time to time now. Jim
