Oh and for record the reason my friend didnt take trophy home was because his dog was beaten in final by the dog owned bythe lady running toy stall.which turned out to be a 25.5inch dog running in the under 23inch. i asked dog to be measured in the heats before final as was clear to see it was too big but nobody measured it and it only came to light when she came to collect trophy and we measured it. she apologised and said she was just going on what he was last year when was a pup.Anyway rather than take trophy etc off her it was just agreed that she would lose her place in the Supadog final

everyone entitled to opinion and i was talkin of one judge not all and no i never left with anything as not got a dog.but friend left with a second rosette and i didnt slate trophys etc they were excellent.Just when you overhear a judge after a case of cider he is biased and put a friends dog through that is what annoyed me and i was not only one that heard it.And Fran i was not getting @ you as you done all you could and made us more than welcome. And nettle rash why not travel up north and call me what you just did you faggott??? oh and dog i meant which was with your party was laid behind yo

Good stuff.Matt241075 is doing it with me and he is the joiner making frame etc i dropped some gear off for it earlier for lure to be getting on with.He got two lurchers one still a pup and other ran on lure for first time sat and won all races in its class except one against an over sized dog. What i forgot to say is dogs running against each other will need muzzles unless both your own dogs and wont mind if they have a little battle when lure stops as it happens often.Ill buy a couple that people can borrow but they cheap enough for you to buy from greyhoundmegastore.com thats where my dad g -

Was the geordie judge with flat cap.Rest were ok although awarded rosettes to people in their party.Setting was lovely and meeting Ben the Hawk lad in two weeks as he only 20 mins from us.Maybe we will be back next year it depends if invited so ya better ask Forest to ask us to return.Hopefully more people will go and Rich them pups of yours will be ready for real racing and so will Blue.Go on svlc.co.uk and ask em to go back
-
None upto now but log onto svlc.co.uk and check on there it was a one off but dare say my dad would do another.Whether ill be there is diff matter as took me 7 hours to get there on fri but 5 to get back home last night. We were not that impressed with few things there if honest.Personally i thought the judge walkin round drinking himself silly while judging was very unprofessional and a few things i overheard him say when pissed i didnt wanna hear. And i mentioned in this forum bout biased judging etc and was told by Fran the judges were experienced pro's but that was not the case with one of e

Im glad i got you to put her in racing otherwise would of been quiet day for us.I managed to get a few fun runs etc for the afternoon its just shame all times changed to those advertised.I dont think we will be back next year mind even though was ok i just think was too quiet

What a nice looking dog and it looks a flying machine.Good luck with the sale mate im sure he wont be there long!
-
Yeah just buff him up a bit and try ya luck ya never know.We dont wanna get into the show side of things as to be honest i think its always biased on what the judges preferences are which is mostly the Deerhound/Greyhound crosses. Try him in races he might do well but make sure have muzzle as no muzzle no race and no exceptions

Problem now solved went to gasket place and got some new O rings.Webley who now own Logun charge £12 for ten O rings but my advice is go to gasket place and get O ring at 10mm ID with 2.5 section in nitrile material with with 70- shore hardness. These are lot better material than proper ones and cost only 2p each so you may as well change O ring each time you fill up bottle up. Probably best to put on with 3 pronged plies to rather than roll down thread and into rebate as O ring can become twisted.Hope this helps some people so not payin for genuine parts all time.
