This is the one i miss the most this bitch died in a fire in my kennels aged 3, the best dog i have owned so far for hares, bring's a lump to my throat looking at this old pic. sadly missed. Aweful story that pal, sorry to hear it , and what a good looking dog to..... Atb Russ. how did the fire start mate, if you dont mind talking about it? Left the gas on in kennel where i cooked my meat had heater in kennel with thermostat when thermostat kicks in gives off a spark boom all gone.

Minshaw dog's were bred predominately for lamping, had a dog 25 year's ago bred out of minshaw's blues brother dog called tartan back to a greyhound. Dog was ok lamping but had the tendecy to put the brakes on daytime, Gave him back to boy that bred him. Have got picture of dog somewhere will post when i find it.

Over the years iv'e had various crosse's that would do the job, if you want a dog that run's them down quick & finishe's them quick single handed with minimum carcass damage salukixgrey bullxgrey is the one for the job in my opinion.

Keep his nails nice and short, if that dont work just have to put up with it.

know this ground very well, not much game on it now.Plenty mountain hare's going back 15 years or so til the italions came & shot them all.
