  1. That's fair enough then Duckwing you obviously know what your talking about,As for my high horse, I don't have one just wanted to know why you thought it was bobbins. As for setting snare its not something I do as no one has ever showed me how to do it and I wouldn't want to set a trap/snare without knowing how to do it properly. Sorry if I caused any offence as truly non was intended. All the best Phil
  2. How much do you want for the kanias mate ??? 410Phil
  3. What makes you say that Duckwing ?Have you tried this system out ?? It would have been ideal for a job I recently had involving some trap shy foxes and an over sensitive customer. How can anyone comment on whether a system is good or bad unless they PERSONALLY have tried it in the field??? Please let us know if you have tried it and if so why you feel it not a decent piece of kit. looking forward to hearing your findings 410 Phil
  4. silenced 410 is ideal. I have a Bretton and Gaucher and its almost silent with a 2 inch cartridge. Nice and discreet. 410PHIL
  5. Indeed, but you can lead a horse to water but you can't climb a ladder with a bell in both hands. The fencing was the first thing I mentioned but they thought it would be cheaper to trap than put up a new fox proof fence. Anyway its down to them now, Cheers 410PHIL
  6. I will have my old 410 back Tim please ring me cheers Phil inbound pm
  7. They will not go for that plus its not accessible beyond the fencing as there is a river (big un) to contend with just a big pain in the arse gonna give it another week with the traps and then suggest that they sort out the big F**cking holes in their fence.
  8. The owners have agreed to silenced firearms so if anyone can help it would be great, its in Greater Manchester and would be paid, you Must have insurance. cheers Phil

  10. its defo foxes I have sat and watched them and no firearms because they are surrounded by houses and they don't want the folks to know they are shooting them.
  11. As long as the pellets stay within the boundary of your property your free to shoot the little b*****ds!!!
  12. Right then folks here's one for you to have a think about. Foxes digging up a football pitch can't use snares or firearms had one in trap but some fecking tree hugger let it out and now they won't go anywhere near the traps Taking baits from in front of the traps but won't go inside to feed. The food outside the traps has now been stopped in the hope they will be forced to feed on the trap baits but NO!! they are having none of it.. I am at my wits end and the club want a result as its causing a right load of moither. Cheers folks any suggestions would be a great help ta 410 P

  17. I dont thinks so.That will be classed as tresspassing if you went on someone elses land without permission, them rabbits belong to them, if some one has rabbits on there land and they dont want to get rid of them there is nothing you can do untill the rabbits come on your land, If the other land owner doesn't take responsibility for the rabbits on his land the at are casing damage to your land then maybe drop him a copy of this through his letterbox http://www.naturalengland.org.uk/Images/WML-G22_tcm6-9968.pdf They are a pest and he has a responsibilty to control them. Hope it hel

  20. Peanut butter for squirrels is top bait. sardines in oil for mink just open the can drizzle a bit of oil around the trap and place the tin in the back of the trap. Yoghurt mixed with gravy granules was suggested to me for rats and so far its worked well on the fenns. Rabbits I am using apple peeling with crushed fennel seeds ,seems to work ok. Hope it helps 410 Phil
