Very short notice but ferrting partner has pulled out and I have been asked to have a tidy up on four fields that are apparently over run (no promises) Can't guarantee big bag but its a day out if someone wants to tag along. nets ferrets and stock broken dogs only no guns or dick heads pm for details cheers Phil

Hi folks I am an absolute beginner when it comes to lamping with a dog ,my lurcher has had a few rabbits during the day and has caught a couple at night but once the he has missed one and then I turn off the lamp he just carries on running and he f**ked off for half an hour the other night, any advice would be greatfully receieved on how to help stop this as it's a royal pain in the arse. cheers Phil p.s. looking at some of the comments left on other posts in this forum if you haven't got anything usefull to say please don't derail this thread as it is a genuine request for some help. thanks

  16. This 1997 Fenman is in MINT condition with less than a tin of pellets from new. It looks like it has just left the factory and does not have ANY marks ,scratches or rust anywhere. Hi folks I have found that mink unlike most other species prefer fresh bait, I usually use kippers , microwave them for about 30 seconds to get them really smelly and then place a small bit (say 3 inches long) in the back of the trap. These pieces will go dry and curl up and become less smelly so replace them every day I catch very well using this bait. Fresh trout works as well but I would rather eat the trout I catch.
