    I have read some really interesting tips on getting a ferret off whatever bit its attatched to, so I thought I would add a couple of my methods which have been tried and tested with great success. If at home and a ferret latches on we use lemon juice (I can hear you all laughing now) just a quick squirt into the mouth from one of those jif lemon things works a treat they think you taste bad, they also think twice about bitting you again. If out working or at a show (which has happened), you always carry a set of keys in your pocket well slide one of the keys into the side of its mouth

    Well I think you need to come to one of my shows. Yes you do see a lot of the same faces at the shows but we always welcome new faces, we have a lot of fun, are willing to give advice and guidance on keeping and showing ferrets and at the end of the day if everyone has enjoyed theirselves its all been worth it. I try to have different judges for the main classes but every ferret get a good going over.     I have just had a phone call from a lady in Chesterfield who`s husband discovered their shed had been broken into and 4 of the childrens ferrets had been stolen. 1 x Sandy Jill 1 x Dark Polecat Jill (this is the jill we think they were after) 1 x Albino Hob Castrated 1 x Hob Castrated These ferrets are the childrens pets.     Well why not leave the dogs at home and bring your ferrets. Open ferret show on Sunday and Monday, never had the same judge twice. Tiggypud.

    I used to feed day olds until I was informed that there was no goodness in them. Its better to feed chicken wings. Tiggypud.

    I have just had a email from the SGF Head Office. There is a rumour going around that this show has been cancelled This is not true. Its still on !!!! 10th - 13th April 2009 Carlton, nr Goole Terriers Lurchers Ferrets Main Ring Attractions Plenty of Stall for everyone many new ones.     These are our 3, Stig, Bree & Ruby. Ruby and Stig are brother and sister and Bree is 1/2 sister to them. Holwbeck is in the genes. Ruby (one at the back in pic) is due into season this month so we are looking for a good stud dog in the East Yorkshire area, we are will to pay the price for the right dog, we would need a proven dog as she is a maiden bitch.     Well just got back from Shugborough. Ferret show was great plenty of good quality ferrets. Weather good, company good, saw plenty of stunning dogs. Thanks to Bird and Fordy for coming to say hello they are two cracking looking dogs you have lads. And Archie for stopping by. Nice to meet you. Tiggypud.
