Personally i love this kind of weather, but i want to know what tactics everyone employs on the grounds that camouflage is out of the window unless you have a forensic's suit........ i have american ACU marpat tape on my rifle and ACU kit courtesy of my mate in the texas national guard, pretty good in the snow.

If anyone wants membership forms PM with email address and i'll send them over. WB

dont blame the wind... dropped a maggie at 30yds + today, and thats on a 5yd zero with a crosswind!! in terms of the club, i think we should start with a meet up, get to know the lads who will be fronting it and joining. that way people will be more comfortable with putting membership/investments forward. everything is ready for a march start, just need to get the funds in to cover the unit, i've covered the insurance myself.

A session entails range time for the given session, access to permission lists (shared permissions), and a place to meet like minded people in the area, there will also be refreshments and toilets on site. facilities will be basic at first as are most new clubs, but its non profit, so all revenue will be used to develop the facility. fair question mate. at first things will be a bit basic, as can be expected from any new club, but as i've said its non profit, so everything goes back into the club, therefore more members, better facilities. session entails range time, chrony facilities and a wealth of knowledge on the subject. like i said basic at first, but i'm pretty much on my own here so any help will be appreciated. it is a valuable meet spot for airgunners, and there is much more to a club than just turning up to shoot. the facility isnt the biggest in the world, but its a new club and i need to secure n

If anyone is interested in being part of the board/committee then names forward, this will require a small amount of investment, as it is the committe who will cover costs until memberships are established. for details PM me, the more people we get on board the smaller the costs are as they will be spread out. Hi Fellas, OK, premises found, help needed. i need to get numbers together now, membership for full year is £50 adult £30 Junior and session prices are £3 adult member and £2 Junior member Non members session fees will be £6 adult and £4 Junior. i will be knocking up the membership forms tonight. this is consideerably cheaper than any other clubs in the area, and i now need to gather the numbers to calculate costs. THIS IS STRICTLY A NON PROFIT CLUB, AND ALL REVENUES WILL GO BACK INTO DEVELOPING THE SITE AND CLUB FACILITIES. Your support will be much appreciated R

cheers fella, will bear in mind when i come to getting mine off.. -
PCP's are a luxury item, well worth a try if you have the budget to do so, but i always keep a springer to hand because they rely on nothing but lead and elbow grease....

bit of plywood, put a slug into it (central ish) walk out to your preferred distance and set crosshair central on slug hole. fire 1 shot, watch for fall of shot, adjust and repeat until zeroed. take adequate care to follow shot through without undue disturbance otherwise you'll be there forever. Learn the marksmanship principles. everyone has different methods, find one that suits you best.

i have both a pcp and a springer, and i wouldnt recommend learning to shoot with a pcp, it just doesnt have the feel or the zest to interest young/new shooters. i use the pcp simply because it is damn near silent, and seriously light. but as CJ says, i dont think it will outlive the good old springer just yet. i swing both ways in this respect, i love the pcp, yet i wouldnt ever do away with my springer. choices choices............... try them, its the only way to decide.........

It is the model up, simply designed with a slight difference in budget, thus allowing them to provide higher shot capacity and a few other tweaks. alot of people's choice is defined by their budget.

so far, mine has lasted, and is still going strong. i wouldn't change it, even with the temptation of the s400/410. although i must say the new s200 is a beautiful piece of kit, i couldnt justify having an older version then going out buying a new one too, as much as i would like to.... have a shop around, i dont recollect ever speaking to a displeased owner of an s200......
